Somalia hasn’t signed any agreement, yet Turkey unilaterally sends its army to Somali waters, citing UN authorization against pirates. Somalia claims Turkey is defending territorial integrity, but the joke’s on them – Turkey didn’t even ask for permission to deploy its ships!

Caught some unauthorized transmissions on the Mogadishu HF frequency 11300kHz. Heard a guy singing and rambling on for about 5 minutes. An aircraft, possibly Kenya 304, was also heard calling Mogadishu as this was happening. Definitely a bit strange given to some recent developments happening in that region.
