36 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் தப்பியோடிய 17 கைதிகளும் பிடிபட்டனர்
தேனி சிறையிலிருந்து 26.10.2026 அன்று பல்வேறு குற்ற வழக்குகளில் தொடர்புடைய 17 கைதிகள் தப்பியோடினர். இதையடுத்து, தமிழ்நாடு காவல்துறை தலைமை இயக்குநர் / படைத்தலைவர் Dr. மகேஷ் குமார் அகர்வால், IPS அவர்களின் உத்தரவின்பேரில் தீவிர தேடுதல் நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. இதன் விளைவாக, 24 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் 13 கைதிகள் கைது செய்யப்பட்டனர். மீதமிருந்த 4 கைதிகளும் 36 மணி நேரத்திற்குள் பிடிக்கப்பட்டனர். இதன் மூலம் தப்பியோடிய 17 கைதிகளும் முழுமையாகப் பிடிக்கப்பட்டனர்.
இந்நடவடிக்கையில் சிறப்பாகப் பணியாற்றிய காவல் அதிகாரிகள் மற்றும் காவலர்களை காவல்துறை தலைமை இயக்குநர் / படைத்தலைவர் Dr. மகேஷ் குமார் அகர்வால், IPS அவர்கள் பாராட்டினார்கள்.
ALL 17 ESCAPED PRISONERS SECURED WITHIN 36 HOURS
Seventeen accused persons involved in various criminal cases have escaped from Theni Prison on 26.10.2026. Following the directions of Dr.Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS, Director General of Police/Head of Police Force, Tamil Nadu, intensive operation was launched, resulting in the arrest of 13 accused within 24 hours and the remaining four accused were also secured within 36 hours.
In toto, all the 17 escaped prisoners were secured and Dr.Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal, IPS., DGP/HoPF appreciated the efforts of the police officials involved in this operation.

இதைப் பற்றி எல்லாம் திமுக தலைவர் வாய் திறந்து பேசவே இல்லை. அவருக்கு சரியான, நேர்மையான அரசியல் வழிகாட்டுதலும் இல்லை.
திமுகவிற்கும் நேர்மைக்கும் எப்போதுமே சம்பந்தம் இல்லை. அதனால்தான்,
தன் முன்னாள் அமைச்சரவை சகாக்கள் சிக்கி வருகிறார்களே என்ற பயமும் இல்லை. பதற்றமும் இல்லை.
ஆனால், தன் ஆட்சியில் நடந்த தில்லுமுல்லுகள் அம்பலமாவதைத் திசை திருப்பவே தினந்தோறும் த.வெ.க. ஆட்சி மீதான திமுகவின் அவதூறு பரப்பல்கள் அதிகமாகி வருகின்றன.

இலவச சைக்கிள் திட்டத்தில் சுமார் 1900-2000 ரூபாய் வரை தவெக அரசு / அமைச்சர்கள் கொள்ளையடிக்க திட்டமிட்டுள்ளனர். இந்த சைக்கிளை தயார் செய்ய தேவையான மூலப்பொருட்கள் அனைத்தின் விளையும் தற்போது என் கையில் உள்ளது. ஹெல்மெட், வாட்டர் பாட்டில், வாட்டர் பாட்டில் ஹோல்டர் தவிர்த்து மற்ற பொருட்களை ஒரு சைக்கிளுக்கு 3500 ரூபாய்கள் அளவில் வாங்கிவிட முடியும்.

In 1895, a young Irish woman arrived in South India. Her name was Amy Carmichael. She had come as a missionary, but the work that would define her life was something she had not yet fully imagined.
Over the years, Amy encountered girls who were vulnerable to exploitation and had nowhere safe to turn. One of the children who came to her for refuge was Preena. Her story became a turning point, and Amy began taking children into her care despite opposition and considerable personal danger.
In 1901, Amy founded the Dohnavur Fellowship in Tamil Nadu. What began as a home for rescued children grew into a community where children could receive safety, education, healthcare and, above all, the feeling that they were wanted and loved.
Amy did not want to create an institution where children would simply be accommodated. She wanted to create a family.
She adopted Indian dress, learned to live within the local culture and devoted herself to the children in her care. Her work was not always easy, and she faced opposition and personal hardship. Yet she continued, building a community that would become a refuge for many vulnerable children.
Amy never returned to Ireland. She spent 56 years in India and died at Dohnavur in 1951, aged 83.
But the most touching part of her story came after her death.
Amy had asked that no monument be erected over her grave. Instead, the children she had cared for placed a birdbath there. On it, they wrote one simple word:
“AMMA.”
Mother.
That was the title that mattered most.
Amy Carmichael did not merely speak about compassion. She turned compassion into action. She sheltered children, challenged exploitation and helped create a community where vulnerable children could grow up with dignity and hope.
More than a century later, the Dohnavur Fellowship continues its work in child care, education, healthcare and women's rehabilitation.
Her story is a reminder that a person's greatest legacy is not always found in the buildings they leave behind or the honours they receive.
Sometimes, it is found in the lives of the children who remember them.
One woman. One child. One act of courage.
And a legacy that became a home for thousands.

Ltd. நிறுவனத்தின் உதவியுடன் 30 அரசு தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களில் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள மேம்பட்ட மின் ஆய்வகங்களைத் திறந்து வைத்து, மேலும் 40 அரசு தொழிற்பயிற்சி நிலையங்களில் நவீன மின் ஆய்வகங்கள் அமைத்திட அந்நிறுவனத்துடன் புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு, 59-வது மாநில அளவிலான திறன் போட்டியில் வெற்றி பெற்ற 15 மாணவ, மாணவியருக்குத் தலா 25 ஆயிரம் ரூபாய்க்கான காசோலைகளையும், அகில இந்திய தொழிற்தேர்வுகளில் தேசிய அளவில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற 60 மாணவ, மாணவியருக்குப் பாராட்டுச் சான்றிதழ்களையும், 673 இளநிலை பயிற்சி அலுவலர்களுக்குப் பணிநியமன ஆணைகளையும் வழங்கினார்.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru.C.Joseph Vijay, today (28.10.2026), inaugurated advanced electrical laboratories established in 30 Government Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) with the support of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., at a function held at the Government Industrial Training Institute in Guindy, Chennai. A Memorandum of Understanding was also exchanged with the company to establish modern electrical laboratories in 40 additional Government ITIs. The Hon’ble Chief Minister also presented cheques for Rs. 25,000 each to 15 students who won the 59th State-Level Skill Competition, certificates of appreciation to 60 students who secured first place at the National level in the All India Trade Tests, and appointment orders to 673 Junior Training Officers.

தப்பியோடிய மேலும் இரு சிறைக் கைதிகள் பிடிபட்டனர்
தேனி சிறையிலிருந்து கைதிகள் தப்பியோடியது குறித்த தகவல் கிடைத்ததும், அவர்களைப் பிடிக்கத் தீவிர நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டது. வாகனத் தணிக்கை மற்றும் தீவிரத் தேடுதல் பணிகளுக்காகப் பல்வேறு குழுக்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டன. ஆயுதப்படை, தமிழ்நாடு சிறப்புக் காவல் படை மற்றும் சிறப்பு இலக்குப் படை குழுவினர் இப்பணியில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்பட்டனர். மேலும், ட்ரோன்கள் மூலமாகவும் அப்பகுதி கண்காணிக்கப்பட்டது.

TWO MORE ESCAPED PRISONERS SECURED
On receipt of information regarding escape of prisoners from Theni jail, an intensive operation was launched. Teams were formed for vehicle check and combing of the area. Armed Reserve, Tamil Nadu Special Police and Special Task Force teams were pressed into service. The area was also scanned using drones. In this intensive operation, 13 escapee prisoners have been secured within 24 hours.
Furthermore, two more escapee prisoners have since been secured totalling 15 prisoners were secured so far. Operation is continuing to secure the remaining two accused.
