Nice interview with the young lady who manages the podcast out of Malaysia. Don't know how she heard of me but it can only mean good things.
This is my final post on X. I'm moving to Bluesky. Look for BHarperAuthor and I'll be there.
Good luck to you all.

GOP has a clean sweep and a compliant Supreme Court. It'll be interesting to see how they'll still blame Democrats for everything over the next two years. Faux News will have a hard time keeping viewers angry without criticizing their annointed.
On the positive side, people are about to learn how important elections are to their personal lives.
Winner of the 2020 Silver Falchion as Book of the Year at Killer Nashville, my book is a fictional assassination attempt on Queen Victoria. I based it on Frederick Forsyth's book Day of the Jackal. I just learned Peacock is releasing a limited tv series based on the same book.
Those who live near me: I'll reprise my role as Father Christmas but I'll no longer have a fixed location. They want me to roam the park, so I could pop up anywhere. Muah ha ha!
Doorways fascinate me, especially those that lead outside as you're neither out nor in, but in some sort of transition. An "otherness" I have no good word for. Adolescence is a transition period, and is hopefully a doorway to adulthood. But you're not there yet.
On this Veterans Day I recall the five times I presided over a military funeral and handed the folded flag to the widow. "Please accept this flag as a token of appreciation from a grateful nation..."

One of the best albums ever made. I have it on every platform out there. I know every word to every song by heart. Is this one of your favorite albums ever?
Lovely afternoon with the local Sherlock Holmes society watching the Hound of the Baskervilles starring Basil Rathbone. The movie was good. The companionship was better.
I sold a short story to an anthology. The editor put in a comment that the final sentence gave her a chill.
That's worth more to me than the check.
Me, translating a talk about Syphilis to the Hispanic Parents Council in conjunction with the local health department. I stumbled a couple of times, but one older lady bailed me out. Papa Noel speaks many languages, but hugs are universal.
Today is my final author event before I begin the Christmas season. I'll be talking to a book club at a retirement community, and I recommend authors reach out to those in your area. They are curious and like to buy books as gifts from authors they know.
I'm on tap this morning to serve as a Spanish translator for a presentation by our local health department. After the election, I need something to give me hope. I can start by serving others.
Fort Riley, Kansas, basic training, while on KP duty. Peeling potatoes was my only chance to sit the entire day.
I'm donating blood on Election day. I've already voted, so this seemed like a patriotic, non-partisan thing to do.
