The Indiana Senate today passed HB 1608, the "Don't Say Gay" bill censoring discussions of LGBTQ people in schools and forcing teachers to out trans students.
This bill stigmatizes LGBTQ people, isolates LGBTQ kids, and makes teachers fearful of providing an inclusive classroom.

I cried after watching this Spanish advert for whisky. It portrays what it's like to be transgender. The fear of being discovered and the lies you tell yourself - in my case that I "was a man" when in reality I wasn't. All those wasted years of hiding, still hurts to this day.
