Another round of layoffs started at UMG today. Artists and their fans often blame labels for everything, but many of the people working in these buildings to support artists care deeply about the work. Some artists may have just lost their only advocate at the company.

If you’re searching your songs in that Atlantic AI watchdog thing, imo the more insightful part is when you click on the actual datasets to get info on them… It gives us a peek into how these datasets of songs were made (stolen), traded, who was behind them etc

Now that we’re in the producer tutorial era, there’s sooo much that is said about getting a certain swing or pocket in your programming
