I rediscovered some old disk boxes. I left my parents' house in 1996 and moved into my tiny apartment at the start of my university time. Naturally, I could only fit in the bare essentials. So, pretty much all my computers and games had to be put into boxes and stored in the attic. Over the years I had forgotten about some of those boxes. A few days ago I rediscovered a couple, brought them home to my place and opened them with childlike wonder. Here's one of 8 disk boxes I found. I am sure that all of you remember the look and sound of it, the disks clicking with every flick of the finger. What really hit my nostalgic nerve was rediscovering the different stages of my "sorting system". In the clip you'll see some handwritten labels, some printed ones and even some typewriter ones. They all represented a certain time. And then, of course, there are the games themselves. Each a little time capsule. The very last one was a nice surprise. So, here it is. A little tribute to a time long gone but rich in memories.
