My Train Rants
Just 18 minutes into the journey, and the drama has already begun.
A lady travelling with her family (they are not from South India) suddenly starts being rude to the gentleman serving tea and coffee. Apparently, he didn't give her enough izzat(respect).
Meanwhile, the poor chap was simply doing his job. He was even thoughtfully placing water bottles on the table for an elderly couple rather than handing them over, possibly to avoid spilling anything.
And somehow, this became a question of respect. How fragile must your self esteem be that you need someone serving coffee to validate your importance?
