So dumb! Who bought WebMD again? Chilling your rice doesn't make it a gut health food. In the study usually cited for this, resistant starch went from 0.64 grams to 1.65 grams per 100 grams of rice after it was chilled for 24 hours and reheated. That's about one extra gram. Cooked white rice has about 28 grams of carbohydrate per 100 grams. Even after chilling, the vast majority of it still breaks down into glucose. The blood sugar response did drop, by about 18% in 15 healthy adults. If you have diabetes or prediabetes, a smaller spike is still a spike. Few doctors will tell you the simplest fix is to skip the rice. The Study and my videos below... – at Tennessee, USA
White rice is often criticized for being highly processed, but it has a secret that benefits gut health: It has a much higher resistant starch content when you cool it after cooking and then reheat it. Resistant starch is a type of soluble fiber that serves as food for good gut bacteria. More gut-friendly processed foods: wb.md/3UNCknW

Butter was never the villain. Sugar just had a better PR team. Cary is right. In 1965 a sugar industry group paid Harvard scientists to write a review on diet and heart disease. The industry set the goal, sent articles to include, and saw drafts. The review ran in the New England Journal of Medicine, blamed fat and cholesterol, and played down sugar. The funding was never disclosed. That's part of how fat became the villain for the next 50 years, and how we got low-fat (high-carb) advice. Butter has essentially zero carbs and barely moves blood sugar. A candy bar is a different story. One of those drives insulin up, and it isn't the butter. Study and my videos below...
Eat butter by the spoonful and suddenly everyone’s a cardiologist. Butter is 50% saturated fat by weight. Meanwhile: Kit Kat: 55% sugar Nutella: 57% sugar Smucker’s Strawberry Jam: 60% sugar M&M’s: 64% sugar But nobody wants to play doctor when you crush on these. Ever since the sugar industry paid Harvard scientists to blame saturated fat for the problems sugar was probably causing, the health of Americans has been steadily trending downwards.

🚨 Here’s the million-dollar question. Trump is offering $1 MILLION for proven voter fraud. California is fighting DOJ over 20K disputed registrations, Alaska has TWO Dan Sullivans on one Senate ballot and New Jersey admitted 6,600 registration errors. A constitutional crisis?

Abdul El-Sayed needs to answer for this today. Even Van Jones, a fellow Democrat, is calling out an ad that blames the Jewish state for Americans’ grocery bills, the kind of scapegoating that history has shown us leads somewhere very dark. So where is El-Sayed? Every hour of silence speaks louder than anything he could say.

Many Americans are trying to make better choices and big-food is actively making this difficult by making the Ingredient List very difficult to read. This would be an easy fix... 1. Increase Font Size Current Regulation: Minimum font size is 1/16 inch (1.6 mm). Recommended Change: Increase the minimum font size to at least 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) or a point size equivalent of 12 points, which aligns with accessibility guidelines for printed materials. Reason: Research shows that many older adults, individuals with presbyopia, and those with low vision struggle with smaller font sizes. Larger fonts improve legibility across demographics. 2. Improve Contrast Requirements Current Regulation: Text must contrast with the background, but no specific standards are defined. Recommended Change: Implement a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1, as per the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for readability. Reason: A defined contrast standard ensures that text is distinguishable from the background, benefiting individuals with visual impairments. 3. Mandate Clear Typography Current Regulation: No restrictions on font style. Recommended Change: Require sans-serif fonts (e.g., Arial, Verdana) and avoid decorative or stylized typefaces. Reason: Simple, clear fonts enhance readability, particularly for people with dyslexia or cognitive impairments. 4. Allow Dynamic Labeling Adjustments for Smaller Packages Current Regulation: Labels on packages smaller than 12 square inches can use reduced font sizes. Recommended Change: Require the use of fold-out labels, QR codes to provide legible ingredient information without reducing font size. Reason: Smaller font sizes compromise accessibility; alternate methods preserve readability while accommodating limited space. 5. Use Plain Language Current Regulation: Ingredient lists must use common or usual names but may still include scientific terminology. Recommended Change: Mandate plain language descriptions alongside technical names (e.g., "sodium chloride (salt)"). Reason: Simplifying terms ensures greater comprehension for individuals with low literacy skills. 6. Standardize Allergen Formatting Current Regulation: Allergens can be declared in the ingredient list or a separate "Contains" statement. Recommended Change: Require a consistent allergen section in bold or highlighted text, clearly separated from the main ingredient list. Reason: Improves visibility for people specifically looking for allergen information. 7. Add Digital Accessibility Current Regulation: Labels are static with no interactive features. Recommended Change: Encourage the use of QR codes or NFC technology on packaging to link to accessible digital formats (e.g., larger text, audio descriptions). Reason: Provides enhanced accessibility options for individuals with disabilities. These stroke-of-the-pen changes can be made Day 1 and any argument from big-food would reveal their obvious attempt to keep The People in the dark... @RobertKennedyJr @MartyMakary @DoctorJanette @DonaldJTrumpJr @US_FDA @FDAfood

❤️ WOW! President Trump just brought angel mom of 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray — slain by an illegal alien — on stage and she said this "If you haven't voted yet, GO OUT AND VOTE...it really DOES make a difference." 🙏🏻 "I'd like to thank President Trump for KEEPING my daughter Jocelyn Nungaray's name alive...proving her death was not just a number." "Most importantly, above all, I would like to thank our Lord Almighty Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to stand up here and share her story and share her name." She is spot-on, remember that our votes can SAVE LIVES. Imagine how many American lives were saved because the border is closed now under Trump? And she knows it. THIS MUST NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN TO AN AMERICAN FAMILY. God bless Alexis Nungaray, and may Jocelyn never be forgotten! 🙏🏻
