You can bash:
- Product
- Marketing
- Support
- ....
You should never bash ongoing:
- Security incidents
- Downtime
I'm not saying you can't be upset, angry or frustrated.
Or that you can't share that feedback.
Or hold vendors accountable.
Or choose to migrate.
Just don't throw rocks in the moment. You're literally distracting them from rebuilding the ceiling where you stand in the midst of a storm.

After the web 2.0 days there has been little to no consumer focus amongst startups.
But I think it’s time again.

if most billing systems are still waiting for the kettle to boil, Polar’s metering already has the tea poured.
Undersold it btw.
This is metering in production across Vercel Functions (lambda) at 5,000 requests/s.
Within 3ms events are ingested, reduced to their meter, pushed across subscribing nodes and read to protect guardrails and balance checks 🏎️
