Aviva taps XRP Ledger for Largest Billion-dollar Fund
Aviva Investors has launched a tokenized share class of its Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund on the @XRP Ledger, per a @Ripple press release.
This is the firm’s largest fund, managing roughly £22 billion. This is also Aviva’s second tokenized fund on the $XRP Ledger, following the US dollar one launched in July 2026.
The fund maintains its structure, with holdings tokenized using the "digital twin" concept. BNY Mellon remains the fund's custodian.

Big news as Aviva Investors announces the launch of a tokenized share class of the Aviva Investors Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger.
The Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund is Aviva Investors’ largest fund at around £22 billion in assets under management, and this move marks an expansion of Aviva Investors’ tokenised fund offering, following the launch of its tokenized USD Liquidity Fund in July.
Investors receive the same protections as those in the conventional fund, which was initially launched in 2002.
Markets are moving to 24/7 access and real-time settlement. This is what that looks like in practice.
