Update: Stolen funds from the $6.3B Binance exploit and $388M Bitget exploit were commingled at the same address 45 minutes ago, after arriving via THORChain.
This indicates the same actor is likely behind both incidents.
The Bitget exploit was attributed to DPRK-linked TraiderTraitor, which had overlap with other previous exploits such as Kelp DAO.
Commingling address:
0x15104a9ce0f08a8f0075a0869ae80e795fe0feb7
Bitget exploit context: nitter.gq/zachxbt/status/2104528…
BREAKING: Chinese illicit actors laundering funds from the $387M Bitget exploit on behalf of the alleged DPRK attackers are openly asking for support with orders in public Discord servers and Telegram channels of services they use.
Notably, Alias 4 (below) was also seen laundering funds from the Kelp DAO $292M exploit earlier this year.
I've observed the same pattern after multiple TraderTraitor attributed exploits, and I've closely tracked these groups. I plan to share more of my data on them in coming weeks.
Currently, funds are being chain-hopped via bridges and being deposited into mixing services such as Wasabi.

Neuralink’s first product is called Telepathy.
It enables high-speed communication with computers or humans simply by thinking. Output bandwidth will vastly exceed the fastest human speech or typing in a few years. Read that sentence again.

This market looks a lot like summer 2023.
In 2023, bitcoin:native's first big move off the bottom ran into a meme and altcoin frenzy. Volatility then sank. This year has followed the same order, with volatility now at the lows.
More on these parallels in this week's Week On-chain.
$85K keeps turning $BTC back. Since January, Bitcoin has closed above it on only five days, never more than three in a row. It's a truly tough level to break. More in depth analysis in our latest Week on Chain report

Over the past few months, Anthropic scientists have engaged in deep research partnerships with six organizations developing new medicines. We've also begun drug discovery efforts of our own.
In doing so, we’ve learned much more about how Claude can support the many stages of drug development.
In this blog post, we share some early results from these efforts, and describe how this work fits in with our wider ambitions in the life sciences.

BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is offering buyouts to 60,000 workers as part of the company’s efforts to cut costs amid AI adoption, per Bloomberg.
Personnel on select teams in the US, Canada, India, and the UK at a vice president level and below will be eligible.
This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce.

Pretty much.
As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers.
SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue.
That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

Higher yields mean higher borrowing costs, and the AI buildout is where that shows up first.
Here's what the data says right now:
> CoreWeave's $CRWV 2032 bonds hit ~15% yields this week, with about $4B of its debt trading below 80 cents on the dollar
> The AA-rated names ($META, $GOOG , $NVDA, $AMZN) borrow around 5% to 5.5% at the front end, per Deutsche Bank
> Nearly half of 2026 data center bonds are junk
> Gartner expects over 80% of neocloud providers to cease independent operations by 2030
Phase one is the flush. The most leveraged, low cash flow neoclouds and smaller businesses feel the rising cost of capital first. Refinancing gets expensive, and loans coming due get harder to roll.
Phase two is the calm. Cash rich hyperscalers and mega corps are fine in the short term. Their balance sheets are strong, and demand for data center buildouts and leases keeps coming. As long as AI demand holds, I see no reason for the economy to fold anytime soon.
Phase three is where the real cracks could show, and it may be months of years away. It starts when the hyperscalers begin reporting bad earnings. That puts pressure on margins and EPS, and layoffs follow to keep boards and shareholders happy.
Into 2030, a good chunk of the data center buildouts should be complete. Efficiency gains across multiple sectors let companies scale up while cutting overhead labor. People displaced from those jobs look for a way to survive, and many take on risky debt to start their own businesses.
Roughly 50% of new businesses survive 5 years and about 35% survive 10. I believe those odds get worse as the supply of businesses serving the same purpose keeps growing.
Both outcomes can be true at the same time. More people building on their own is a more decentralized and sovereign society. A wealth gap that keeps widening, with the highest bidders in the markets driving growth for the wealthiest cohorts, is also on the table.
The question I keep coming back to is when the efficiency gains arrive, who ends up owning them?
