Oh well, they’ll get what they wanted and deserve I spose… feel for friends that have to deal IRL and people of Ukraine and Palestine who will be the biggest losers as his fellow autocrats can continue their invasions unchecked

Surprised he didn't talk about how proud his dad Fred would be at him stopping a black person getting something.

Historians: He’s a fascist. Political scientists: He’s a fascist. His own aides: He’s a fascist. The Washington Post: We don't take sides.

How ridiculous is it that our elected officials in Australia swear allegiance to a foreign monarch instead of the people to which they serve #auspol #notmyking #impoliteempire

You know authoritarianism is alive and well, when people are condemned for not singing a song, wanting to root a colourful rag, or pay homage to a rich bastard who is apparently the highest power in the Commonwealth, but has never bought a Bunnings snag. Zeig Heil Rrrrrupert!

In the years I’ve been making Stuff The British Stole, the biggest lesson for me has been how much history hides behind politeness—polite plaques, polite speeches, polite monarchs. I don’t have Lidia Thorpe's life experience, and it’s not appropriate for me to offer commentary on her actions. But let’s be clear on one thing: the British Empire was not a polite enterprise. Like most, it was built on conquest, power, and, yes, things were truly stolen. Many things that have not been returned or in some cases even acknowledged. It was not a polite empire.

Two clear and obvious replays that show Howarth’s own arm is under the ball and it never gets close to the ground yet people are like ‘here’s a grainy, low-res screenshot from a photo of my TV’ 🤦‍♂️

Watching the ‘81 GF on @FOXNRL and notice that kickoffs are not returned by big front rowers smashing into each other… it’s wingers and fullbacks each time… but I thought they said that was the fabric of the game #nrltough
30
Hey @PenrithPanthers can members expect an email with ticket details for the GF?
47
Hey @NRLonNine , so apparently the big front rower clash at kickoffs is part of the “fabric of the game”… can you show footage from the 70’s and 80’s of this? No, because little wingers were bringing it back off kickoffs back then… #fakehistory #recencybias #nrl

How bout Blocker Roach on @FOXNRL bagging Tommy Turbo for his “lack of speed” after taking an intercept. Only problem is it was at Lachlan Croker!

FACT CHECK: Trump claims that his handling of the pandemic was the best in the world. But in reality it was the worst in the world. The US had THE highest death toll due to his mishandling of the pandemic. 1M Americans died. #Debate2024

Hey @PenrithPanthers, if we’re lucky enough to secure a home game in round 1 on the finals, will it be at Penrith Park or Parramatta?
