Just got back from seeing You Can See everything. I’m a huge Nathan Fielder fan but found the film very disappointing.
An incredibly creative layout where Lambert undoes all the ring ropes to neutralize the use of Hangman’s finisher.
But in the end the referee bends over to clear debris which allows Page to flip over him for the buckshot lariat putting Archer through the table.
I know it’s kayfabe but I think PAC’s death being the one thing that finally reunited Mox & Danielson to make amends was creatively brilliant. #AEWDynamite
Checked out the final NYT ranking of the best 100 TV shows of 21st century. In my opinion…
Overrated:
The Office US (11)
Girls (13)
The White Lotus (21)
Schitt’s Creek (34)
Homeland (38)
Underrated:
The OA (98)
Dexter (88)
Modern Family (77)
The Bear (74)
The Good Place (51)
You know we’re in late stage capitalism when this Carnival cruise arcade has turned menial low wage jobs into games for kids to train on.
My prediction for the #Gillcast:
@DavisMattek can’t help playing Breece & Burden, comes in last.
@NateNohling plays both Tucker & Vele to jam in Bijan & JT , crushes the 3-man.
@SammyReidFI plays 2TE yet fades Mayer for Juwan & Goedert. Says it was the “alpha move”.
Can’t wait for Holka to tout Lindsey Graham as the front runner for the 2028 GOP presidential nominee.
Rory Scovel’s new stand-up special on Netflix is very well written and masterfully performed. Go out of your way to check it out.
Just found out about this. Truly a podcasting pioneer who was a major influence in my tech media work.
I used to describe my content back then as “what if @THErealDVORAK did Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast”.
His lovable tech curmudgeonry will never be done better by anyone.

Not rare at all, actually the majority from my experience by recs in cash games.
Super tilting to play 3-4 less hands per hour because half the table insists on betting in slowly cut out red chips & not stacking them well for easy visual counts rather than use greens & blacks.
The other night I witnessed possibly the worst beat I can ever remember seeing in my whole life playing poker.
AAxx & A9xx got it in on A99 flop in PLO, ran it twice and aces full got scooped by quads and a running straight flush.
My #AEW contrarian opinions:
1. Moxley’s storylines are ass.
2. Swerve’s new theme better than old.
3. Thekla’s gimmick is meh at best.
4. Kevin Knight isn’t the guy.
5. Jay White most overrated promos.
Poker heuristic that I’ve found true:
If it’s a holiday many go out or spend time with family (ie. Valentine’s Day, July 4, Thanksgiving) = games will be bad.
If it’s the day before/after a holiday or 3-day weekend (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday) = games will be great.
Recreationals have actual lives.
Miserable shit regs don’t.
When the folks at the poker room know you as the “sports betting guy” and brag to you about their winning goal scorer parlays with Messi, Haaland & Mbappe.
Big O has permeated my poker scene.
The positives: most are atrocious at it and the showdowns I see in massive pots are absolutely shocking.
The negatives: every hand takes forever and it’s boring as fuck to just sit there folding for 2+ hours straight many sessions.
Told a rude old lady in a mobility scooter that she shouldn’t wonder any more why she’s going to die alone. Just a typical experience at Kroger for me.
