God the wheels are really falling off big time. No-one is buying what you’re flogging. The fag ash emperor has no clothes
🚨 WATCH: Nigel Farage says he didn't attend the Budget in Parliament to "avoid a physical altercation" "Given my prayer card [to reserve a seat] was removed, I was heading towards another physical altercation... being a quiet, shy and modest person, I decided against it"

When an @AlisonMoyet review begins “The billing for Alison Moyet's current tour couldn't be clearer. "Songs from Yazoo, the minutes & Other", I do begin to wonder if I wrote it under an assumed name. What a glorious read, Teddy! 🙏

That, Edinburgh, was something else! Incredible sound, outstanding vocals, dirty synths. Thank you @AlisonMoyet for then and now and what might be x

The change in the Airbnb rules (that owner cannot ask guests to clean up and strip beds) and the reaction from owners is eye-opening. I say owners rather than hosts because some don’t seem to realise they are in the hospitality business. If you are charging a cleaning fee, 1/6

I’ve only ever received rave reviews from the hosts of the properties I’ve stayed at. I’d much rather the hosts gave bad reviews to troublesome guests than adopting an approach where there is such a lack of welcome. 5/6

Hopefully this rule change will reward those airbnb hosts who do a great job and understand hospitality, and will encourage those not suited for the business to get out of the game. 6/6

Replying to @LNER
@LNER Booked a passenger assist in advance for my connection at York. No one there. Platform staff sent me to a lift - that turned out to be closed for maintenance. Was told they’d radio passenger assist to follow me. No-one came. Made my way to a working lift which 1/2

was nearer than where I was sent. Got to Platform 4 only to just miss the delayed Scarborough train and had to wait an hour. Would have caught it if anything that was booked had been in place.

Moyet. London. Exceptional and life affirming. No one is more honest and genuine on stage. And that voice. 14-year-old me chose well. *whispers* I don’t know how she does it…

I may be on crutches (dodgy knee, don’t ask) but nothing was going to stop me from my return to Martin Guerre!

Wow. I would listen to Val McDermid’s take on womanhood over this hate-filled, destructive rabble every single day of the week. She has such credibility and integrity and thought that requires attention over the monetised hatemongers. To say that Val is thick!!! Oh the irony
Traitorous, cowardly, thick as mince: Val McDermid in the Times today: "I think the persecution of trans women has been appalling. Trans does not damage lesbianism. Womanhood is a big tent; it goes all the way from Kim Kardashian to me and everything in between." Fuck off.

So over this week - too many 🤡. 🤡 bitching about a show being the thing it is advertised as and not what they personally wanted. 🤡 attacking a critic not for what they said but boarding a pile-on after they were misquoted. Wine o’clock has never beckoned so hard.
