Despite the belittling comments and lack of thought, despite the last-minute changes to rules and despite the fact that we've not worked for almost a year, we're here. Weddings businesses are resilient but to save 400,000 jobs and £14.7bn p/a, we need a plan. #whataboutweddings

Oh yes @BorisJohnson, you must remember this little chat. For weddings to be back to normal by summer, we need to know on 22nd Feb how you plan to get us there. #whataboutweddings
Back in December I asked @BorisJohnson about weddings, he told me weddings would be back to normal by Summer, but yet we’ve heard nothing since! We face loosing a 2nd year due to lack of clarity from the Government! You must support the sector @scullyp #whataboutweddings

One of the solutions? Rapid testing. They are doing it in New York. They had successful pilots in Barcelona with NO social distancing and 1000 guests. Time the UK caught up! @scullyp #whataboutweddings
We need a wedding roadmap & we need one now #whataboutweddings
The wedding industry as a whole brings over 14 billion to the UK economy, it’s largely been forgotten @scullyp @BorisJohnson we need a clear roadmap in the 22nd Feb announcement
It’s 19 days until @BorisJohnson’s 22nd Feb announcement re the easing of lockdown. Weddings must be included to bring certainty to couples and businesses. Now is the time for us to turn up the volume so all MPs are asking #whataboutweddings.
