Trump should start by banning himself from Truth Social for spreading false and misleading information.
A President deciding which news organizations are allowed in the White House based on whether he likes their reporting isn’t “fighting fake news.” It’s punishing the press for coverage he doesn’t like.
And “other media outlets to follow” is the part everyone should pay attention to.
If the reporting is false, challenge the facts. You don’t protect free speech by banning the people criticizing you.

I was stopped in my tracks watching this interview.
It wasn’t just that Trump’s hand-picked official, John Solomon, said there was zero intelligence indicating any U.S. votes were flipped due to foreign interference. It was the Venezuela part that caught my attention.
Venezuela used the same voting machines, and there have long been allegations that votes were manipulated there. The U.S. intervened in Venezuela earlier this year, and the current administration now has significant leverage over the country’s leadership.
That made me wonder: if our government were to learn exactly how Venezuela’s voting system was allegedly manipulated, what safeguards prevent someone from trying to use those same methods here during the midterm elections?
I’m not claiming that’s happening. I’m asking what protections exist to ensure it can’t.

Thousands of times, Trump said Russia interference was a hoax, then the MAGA sheep repeated.
Now documents were released.
Turns out Russia was allegedly trying to manufacture a Biden corruption scandal and amplify mail-in voter fraud claims. Somewhere, irony just pulled a hamstring.
