I just dont view comps as best training for defense. Youre learning fast and accurate and every bad instinct possible for tactics in a defensive scenario. I would like to see comps with solid barriers so you cant see the tartget through what would be walls, points based on how much exposure you have when leaning out, and no walkthroughs beforehand. For what comps are theyre good though. Still you dont need a race gun. You could have 2 OEM glocks with red dots and use a 17 for comps and 19 for carry.
We also need to 100x the amount of force on force and shoothouse establishments nationwide but thats a whole different thing.

People say that but i shoot 9MM suppressed with no earpro all the time and i can still hear just fine. And i can only hear a faint ringing when its completely silent around me. But if theres even a little noise i dont hear it at all. In other words get good
Can you tell when the Firearms Act was passed in the UK without looking at the years?
It was in 1997.
But homicides were higher for 8 years, then dropping precipitously after.
Let me ask the cognoscenti.
What would you rather have in a USPSA style pistol match where there was only 1 division:
*Stock Glock 19 with plastic sights
*G43x with a red dot, comp and light?
I'd pick the 43x but I'm curious what everyone else says.
I'm selling these 32x34 Ministry Of Supply jeans. They retailed for $148, I'm asking $48 delivered via X cash.
Regular fit, dark wash, lightweight stretchy denim. Here's a review:

I wondered, does the factory even support these 3rd gen S&Ws any more?
Looks like they stopped production for commercial sales in 2006, law enforcement in 2010 and factory support ended in 2014.
Also, instructor is looking downrange when he should be looking at his students.
Who'd have a more infallible opinion on a gun than a former CAG guy who's also an M class USPSA shooter?

Yeah, because special forces = infallible opinions on guns. This is literally a 43x thats the size of a 19, but shittier in everyway imaginable. If you're clamping all this shit onto a compact gun, just go with a bigger handgun.

I hate this kind of "Build" (you didn't build it you just put a bunch of shit on it) because it defeats the purpose of a compact gun to just slap a bunch of shit on it, like a magwell, comp, light, and red dot. All while still being worse shooting than full size.
Cool rifle drill from Kyle Defoor. Instead of slow fire groups from a bench at your 100 yard range. On the buzzer, standing to prone, 10 rounds in 12 seconds on an IPSC target. No IPSC target? 8.5x11 piece of paper folded to 6x11. 8 out of 10 rounds on paper is a pass.
