Both political parties are responsible for this man’s plight. It’s a uniparty in the United States and that needs to change. Wars under Democrats and Republicans, Ridiculous spending under both parties. The trump administration has been better for our business than pervious administrations. We still have 70% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck. Both parties need to do a better job for the American People. Remember: It doesn’t help that we are the biggest welfare state in the world…… Illegal immigrant get priority over you. The federal government spends into oblivion and the federal reserve accommodates them. All to win elections and pay back the people who helped them get power. I’ve taken every pill there is. Red, black, white, clear. I’ve lost track of which one this was, but it hit harder than anything has in years. It’s the desperation in his voice. When he says he’s supposed to be home with his kids, you can see them in his eyes. You can practically watch him doing the math: what’s left in the account, what the mortgage needs, how many days until it’s due. So what is the American dream now? Is this it? Is there anyone who’d look at this man and say he isn’t busting his back? And for what? A quarter of his paycheck goes to a government that burns it on things he never voted for. He stocks the shelves with food that gets subsidized for people who don’t work a fraction as hard, paid for with EBT cards he’s funding, which pushes up the grocery prices his own family has to cover, out of the paycheck he earned by doing everything right. The whole system is garbage. There’s no polite way to say it. Absolute garbage. A man like this should have a 9-to-5 with some dignity in it, one that gets him home to his kids at a decent hour. Instead he’s someone’s content. His breaking point, his exhaustion, his last nerve, all of it is just another stranger’s paycheck. It’s bleak. Genuinely, brutally bleak.
