i have a number of side project web apps that all use some kind of LLM inference, so i figured it would be a good idea to make a kind of "gateway" that lets users log in once, then reuse their openrouter key across all the apps

note to self: zero trust - cryptographically granting access to resources to "tasks" (e.g. a deep research task, any long running LLM agent with a bunch of tool calls)

whoops already mentioned this nitter.gq/bob_on_computer/status…
if you want to grant a long-running non-interactive task (e.g. "deep research") access to some kind of resource (e.g. api keys to external data sources or inference providers) then you might want some way of "proving" that the requests are legitimate

I honestly just asked Steve (and our genius color science coder friend Eric Cameron) to make it because I take a ton of pics with my phone and wanted to have it for myself, and they figured hey, let's put it out there. Hope you enjoy!

it's beginning to look a lot like smart contracts

the non-interactive part is key here because if there is a step where the system prompts the user for input, that's a chance to re-grant permissions
