I write stuff, I listen to weird music, and I’m learning French. Eyes up.

Imagine any human being today alive on this planet speaking with such facility and wit. They should be kept in a museum.

Joining the holy crusade against AI on the side of the Catholics That’s a sentence that would have deeply confused me five years ago
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Have them all towed to an undisclosed location.
I officially closed on my house today and the previous owners left their vehicles in my driveway. Multiple vehicles taking up the ENTIRE driveway too and I can’t even park. They told their agent they don’t have an estimated day/time to when the cars will be picked up. They never even asked permission for this. Y’all, this is crazy. I can’t make this up. What do I do? What would you do?

Of course Richard is exactly right. People want to have fun at the movies and this movie is Big Fun.
I enjoyed The Odyssey a lot. It’s one of those rare films that throws out a lot of traditional storytelling rules, but succeeds on its own wild power. Honestly, I can’t even say if it’s a good film, but it’s a tremendous experience and for that, I recommend it.

My favorite part of Homer’s Odyssey is when the glowing radioactive bar falls in his pocket

“Changing a city is complicated, because even the most progressive people don’t want to alter their habits. To succeed, you have to have a strategy, be determined and, yes, accept being unpopular.” – Anne Hidalgo, 2026 theguardian.com/world/2026/m…
