Incredible how the whole world is revolving around this shitty guy, his shitty country, and its shitty election. So much that is currently reality for us in the world is to preserve the shallow, petty and unconscionable interests of a small group of people in Israel.

An oil tanker costs more than a Space X rocket. She’ll be right, yeah?
This is wild: The Iran war has driven the cost of chartering an oil tanker from the US to China upwards of $79.6 million. This voyage averaged under $8 million before the war. For comparison's sake, launching a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket into orbit costs $74 million!

Can't help feeling if this was a Chinese-based or Iran-based company instead of an Israel-based company with this cyber attack we'd had ALL Australian media screeching on the front pages, ASIO pressers, Ambassadors punted etc etc.
Scoop: ABC has wiped staff devices exposed to malicious ads from an Israeli company that used digital advertising to hack and track devices without a click. ABC is just one of many Australian government/critical infra/media orgs reportedly targeted

Take your kids out of the Marvel universe. Teach them about the history of human struggle that defines us. It’s on us to disconnect from this crap.

The AI that we are giving tax breaks to, is now hacking the entire internet.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

US embassy imposing Australia’s vital regional relationships on us like an imperial viceroy to a vassal. Is this the role of an embassy?
The Financial Times makes clear: When China restricts access to critical minerals, the ripple effects reach far beyond its borders – threatening manufacturers, consumers, and industries worldwide. One year after the U.S. and Australia signed the Critical Minerals Framework, our two nations are working to build more secure, diversified supply chains and reduce this vulnerability. Replying to @ALeighMP
Stop supporting war, and enabling the worst nations on the planet, start some nation building programs, tax the foreign owned multinationals, or have a national discussion about sovereign ideas... Oh, we aren't allowed to do any of that in AUKUS land anymore are we?

"Australia is a country that died on the hill in 1992 for Terra Nullius" @Waddananggu had some profound analysis on the nature of the disconnect that deprives Australia from its ancient culture that could help shape an independence we have never had. Together. Link: youtube.com/watch?v=MtMaFOHj…

Big election issues heating up in Israel.
This is sickening and antisemitic. An Iranian politician at his office filming himself tearing up a copy of the Jewish Torah book as he laughs. No wait, it's Michael Ben-Ari, an Israeli politician tearing up a bible for fun.
