“ Oh. My. Goddess.
A FULLY AUTOMATOUS GOLEM?! @NUMBANISPEAR PLEASE TELL ME YOUR INNER WORKINGS!!
Do you run off magic crystals? Do you require any magic circuits? Why, as a golem, would you require the, ahem, extra appendage? ”
She was nowhere near done with her questions.
“ Geez, you think I hadn't heard that before? Try harder if you're gonna pay through flattery. ”
She'd say, rolling her eyes, not even bothering to look up from the job she was working on.

She really hopes her boss doesn't come all the way here. 💧
She moved her smithy far away for a reason! Her boss is so meann!
She doesn't care what race her clients are. If they're paying and they respect their equipment, she'll work.
But, if you show any prejudice towards her clients in her forge, you can expect to never receive her work again. 💢
Woah, the knight looks. . phenomenal. .
Wait, why does the blacksmith have to go as well? Why did the knight pick her as the +1?

“ That crack wasn’t from wear and tear. That was fear in your grip. ”
She doesn't need to lie to her blacksmith. 💧
She's seen the state of the weapons the Heiress brings in. . .
She doesn't do fucking ‘ reservations. ’ 💢
Your job is either accepted or you come back later. The next person to come in and ask for a reservation in line is getting her hammer shoved so far up their fucking ass-

“ Tch, all my weapons are top quality. I don’t make legendary weapons, I make weapons that come back. Every sword in this forge has outlived somebody. ”
She'd say, pulling her goggles to her eyes and beginning to forge, mumbling and grumbling the whole time.
There was a tug on the corner of her mouth as she heard the other talk, she hadn't ever had someone speak to her soul like this woman has.
“ Exactly! Like, look at this beauty, that crack wasn’t from battle, it was fear in the wielder's grip! ”
She was acting like a kid

A soft hum escaped as her gaze drifted from the smith’s sweat soaked skin to the display of weapons resting nearby, electricity crackling lazily across her fingertips for only a moment before fading again.
“Neither, actually.” Her smile deepened with quiet amusement. “A truly skilled hunter asks whether the blade suits the hand holding it.”
Akeno stepped closer afterward, dark hair shifting gently over her shoulder while her eyes lingered on Maelin far longer than the weapon itself.
“Sharp steel breaks in reckless hands. Durable steel becomes useless in timid ones.” Her voice lowered into something smoother. “But a weapon crafted for the person wielding it… now that tends to become dangerous.”
Another small laugh slipped from her throat.
“Though, judging from the heat in this forge, I suspect you already know that better than anyone, don't you?”
in a candy shop, speaking of each and every weapon that sat in racks where pews once sat in this modified cathedral.
“ I've been working this forge since the old war, this place used to sit on the front lines. Sometimes I think this old girl is alive.
