🧩 如果有一天，TapeOut 上最有价值的电路，不是奖励最高的那个，而是十年后仍然有人愿意研究的那个呢？ 这个想法让我重新看待 Circuit NFT。 我们很容易把一条电路看成一个结果：消耗了多少 NAND 和 LATCH，最后生成了什么 NFT，以及它能不能参与 PoD。 但一份电路设计其实还藏着另一层东西。 它记录了设计者如何拆解问题、怎样安排逻辑、为什么选择某种结构，以及最终如何让输出通过验证。 ⚙️ 我觉得，TapeOut 未来有一个值得探索的方向：让电路的价值不只停留在生成的那一刻。 举个例子。 假设两个人完成了功能相同的电路。 第一个设计满足任务要求，但后来几乎没人再看它。 第二个设计不仅通过验证，而且结构清晰、容易理解。后来，一个新开发者研究它，从中学到一种优化方法，再把这个思路应用到自己的新设计中。 如果只看最初的结果，两者可能都完成了任务。 但从知识积累的角度看，它们带来的长期影响可能完全不同。 当然，结构清晰不代表电路一定更高效，能被引用也不意味着它自动拥有更高的 PoD 权重。这些评价标准需要分开讨论。 🔍 所以我真正感兴趣的，不是再增加一种奖励，而是几个更基础的问题： • 能不能更容易地理解一份已经发布的电路？ • 能不能追踪一个设计从初版到优化版的变化？ • 能不能让开发者更容易比较不同实现的优缺点？ • 如果未来出现公开的设计文档、验证记录和版本关联，能不能帮助后来者少走一些弯路？ 这些并不是我在声称 TapeOut 已经具备的功能，而是我认为值得讨论的产品方向。 💡 对我来说，真正有生命力的开发生态，不应该只有不断产生的新资产，也应该有不断积累的知识。 一枚 NFT 可以记录一份电路，但它背后的设计思路，能不能被更多人理解、学习和改进，才是另一个值得探索的问题。 我希望未来的 TapeOut，不只是让更多人学会制造电路，也能让更多人学会从别人的设计中发现新的可能。 因为最好的技术成果，也许不只是完成了一个任务。 而是让下一个人能够做得更好。 #TapeOut #BEM #CircuitDesign #Web3 #tapeout @bitcoin2themars

Circuit Punk: Potential Value Analysis @TAPELIQUID Circuit Punk is the founding collectible of TAPELIQUID, the first TapeOut DEX on X Layer. With a total supply of 10,000, its public mint of 3,000 pieces has now closed. It is the first—and so far the only—collection issued under TapeOut’s TAP-721 (Netlist-Bound NFT) draft. Beyond a standard ERC-721 image, each token carries a self-contained tapnet/1 netlist and its SHA-256 hash. At present it remains at L0: the netlist can be independently verified, yet it has not been “taped out” as a permanent, on-chain executable circuit. The portraits, rendered in a 24×24 circuit aesthetic, pay tribute to early Bitcoin and BEM participants (Hal Finney, Adam Back, Jameson Lopp and others) as well as early TapeOut/BEM holders. The project itself describes them as commemorative rather than promotional. From the outset the collection has been embedded in the protocol rather than bolted on later. TapeOut was launched in mid-August 2026 by @Blonskr on BNB Chain (later extended to X Layer and Base). Its core mechanism tokenises the two most basic logic elements—NAND gates and LATCH elements—as ERC-1155 “transistor” tokens. Users design circuits on a canvas; once confirmed, the components are burned and a permanent ERC-721 circuit NFT is minted. Those circuits can then participate in Proof-of-Design (PoD) mining, which emits the reward token BEM (21 million hard cap, no pre-mine, no team allocation, mining contract sealed). TAPELIQUID, built by @Icp_chinese, functions as an endogenous trading front-end for the ecosystem: the interface itself runs inside a taped-out circuit container (DeWeb), and fees are used to buy and burn BEM. Circuit Punk is the genesis collection of that marketplace. Its public price was locked at 1 TAPE + 0.001 BEM, with the remaining 7,000 pieces allocated according to defined rules to early contributors and ecosystem holders. From day one it has been aligned with the protocol’s “circuit as asset” logic. Culturally, the name and visual language deliberately echo CryptoPunks. In 2017 CryptoPunks used free-to-claim 24×24 pixel portraits to open the NFT and profile-picture era, becoming the spiritual prototype for countless later projects. Circuit Punk takes the same pixel scale and extends the “punk” attitude from street subculture and early cryptographic spirit into the DIY tradition of hardware and circuit design. Circuit bending, home-built synthesisers and open-source hardware communities have long shared an ethos of taking tools apart, rewiring them and redefining what they do—refusing to treat the black box as given. TapeOut moves that ethos on-chain: transistors are consumable, circuits are verifiable and re-tapeable permanent records, and mining rewards design quality rather than raw hash power. By writing early Bitcoin contributors into the generative rules, the collection draws a direct line from mailing-list culture and early code to verifiable logic gates on a blockchain. The cultural claim is therefore not mere nostalgia; it is an attempt to restore a form of maker sovereignty. Holders own not only an image but a circuit description that anyone can download, check and simulate. In a market long criticised for “pictures that point to more pictures,” that distinction carries real narrative weight. The technical foundation is the strongest part of the case. The TAP-721 draft (submitted by community members to TapeOutProtocol/TAPs, number 721 requested, with a public reference implementation on GitHub) extends ERC-721 so that each token carries, alongside its image, a self-contained tapnet/1 netlist (16-byte header plus TAP-02 NAND/LATCH records). The SHA-256 of that file is the netlist hash. Anyone can download it and cross-check it against on-chain data without trusting the issuer. L0 requires only that metadata supply the image, netlist and hash; L1 would require the contract to implement a callable netlist interface. Circuit Punk is currently L0, and the project has been explicit that the netlist can be verified but has not yet been taped out. That staged transparency is itself a positive signal—it avoids over-claiming executability. Should the collection later reach L1 or higher, the tokens could become callable circuit assets rather than pure collectibles, potentially usable inside contracts, movable across chains, or eligible for further PoD attribute checks. TAPELIQUID’s factory and marketplace design already operationalises parts of this logic: secondary trades settle in BEM/TAPE pairs, the protocol takes a 0.2% fee, and a portion of proceeds enters a vault that can buy back listings below twice the mint price. The front-end itself already runs on a circuit, creating a rudimentary loop of issuance, trading and BEM burn. Relative to TapeCode-Test1 (an earlier TAP-721 adopter), Circuit Punk is positioned as the marketplace’s founding and “only” collection, reinforcing its scarcity within the ecosystem. Value, therefore, derives more from position than from any near-term price. As the genesis collectible of TAPELIQUID it is bound to the first trading front-end that directs fees toward BEM burns. As the first full issuance under TAP-721 it supplies a working sample and liquidity test bed for any future circuit-NFT standard. If TapeOut’s “on-chain hardware manufacturing” narrative continues to attract builders—who design more efficient circuits, lower costs and participate in PoD—then demand for BEM burn and circulation should rise, giving a collection so tightly coupled to that loop both narrative and potential utility support. With the public mint complete, the circulating 3,000 pieces plus directed allocations create a relatively clear holder base; the ongoing lottery has further concentrated community attention on the collection itself. Historically, CryptoPunks derived its lasting value not from technical complexity at launch but from being the first widely claimed set that later defined standards and culture. Circuit Punk is attempting an analogous path on the new primitive of verifiable circuits. Risks remain straightforward. The wider project is still extremely early; the distance between L0 and a genuinely executable circuit includes implementation and audit work. Liquidity and price volatility in BEM and TAPE will transmit directly to NFT valuations. The founder is young, and both ecosystem growth and competitive pressure are uncertain. The project itself repeatedly states that nothing constitutes investment advice. The bullish case rests on the combination of protocol-level embedding from the start, cultural continuity with punk and maker traditions, and technical verifiability of the netlist. If TapeOut and TAPELIQUID prove short-lived experiments, Circuit Punk remains a commemorative collection. If circuits become genuine on-chain production tools, it may stand as an early specimen of that paradigm. The fact that the issuance was aligned with protocol logic rather than retrofitted afterwards is the principal source of its potential value.
