Off the Books Migrant Homicide ... FBI Agent Involved in Fatal Shooting of Wanted Criminal Venezuelan in Pilsen October 26 2026 SubX.News® Crime Report CHICAGO — Oscar D. Isaya-Corrales, a 27-year-old Venezuelan migrant wanted on an outstanding warrant in a Chicago shoplifting case, was shot multiple times and killed during an encounter involving an FBI agent Monday evening in Pilsen. A Chicago police report reviewed by the Chicago Sun-Times identifies the incident as an FBI-involved shooting. Responding Chicago officers reportedly arrived to find the 41-year-old federal agent aiming his firearm at Isaya-Corrales, who was lying wounded near a bicycle. Isaya-Corrales suffered gunshot wounds to both legs, his chest and right flank. He was transported to Stroger Hospital and pronounced dead less than an hour after the reported 5:30 p.m. shooting. Police reportedly recovered a handgun underneath the bicycle. Publicly released information does not establish whether Isaya-Corrales displayed or fired the weapon, who fired first or what caused the confrontation. Cook County Medical Examiner records identify the cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds and classify the death as a homicide. FBI-Involved Shooting in Pilsen Shooting occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. October 26 in the 1700 block of S. Union Avenue. Chicago officers were dispatched to an officer-in-distress call and found the FBI agent standing beside a black Nissan equipped with flashing red and blue emergency lights, according to the police report described by the Sun-Times. Emergency radio traffic cited by the Sun-Times identified the incident as an FBI-involved shooting and indicated that the federal agent was not injured. A nearby resident reported hearing one loud bang followed by a barrage of gunfire. He took cover with his family before seeing an officer behind an unmarked vehicle with his firearm drawn. Resident called 911 after seeing Isaya-Corrales lying unresponsive on the sidewalk. Medical Examiner Confirms Homicide Cook County Medical Examiner case ME2026-05735 identifies the victim as Oscar D. Isaya-Corrales, 27. Medical Examiner records list the incident location as 1750 S. Union Avenue and record his death at 6:18 p.m. October 26, approximately 48 minutes after the reported shooting. Cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. Manner of death was homicide. A homicide classification establishes that another person caused the death. It does not independently determine whether the shooting was criminally justified or unlawful. No Public CPD Communication Located Chicago police documented the fatal encounter internally and responded to the scene. Emergency radio traffic cited by the Sun-Times identified it as an FBI-involved shooting. SubX.News could locate no public statement, incident notification or other CPD communication acknowledging the fatal shooting through October 27. CPD publicly reported other shootings from the same period but released no public information located by SubX.News about Isaya-Corrales’ homicide. Public police communications included a 5:30 p.m. shooting October 26 in the 2000 block of W. 68th Place and a double shooting at approximately 9:45 p.m. inside a business in the first block of E. Adams Street. No public posting reviewed by SubX.News identified the fatal shooting at 1750 S. Union Avenue, the FBI agent, Isaya-Corrales or the homicide investigation. CPD has not publicly explained the absence of the case from its public communications. Internal Review FBI acknowledged that one of its agents was involved in the shooting and said its Inspection Division had opened an internal review. “The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously,” the agency said in a statement. Agency did not publicly explain why the agent encountered Isaya-Corrales, what occurred before the shooting, whether the recovered handgun was displayed or fired, how many rounds were discharged or whether video captured the encounter. FBI did not publicly identify the agent. An agent with the same name listed in the Chicago police report joined the FBI in March 2017, according to federal court records cited by the Sun-Times. Agent previously served in the FBI’s Seattle division on a squad focused on terrorism and crimes against children. Outstanding Shoplifting Warrant Chicago Police Department arrest records list the defendant in the May 25 case as Oscar D. Corrales, 27, CB number 30586257. Security guards allegedly stopped him from stealing five necklaces from Nordstrom at 55 E. Grand Avenue. Merchandise was valued at more than $300. Sun-Times reporting connected that arrest record to Oscar Isaya-Corrales and reported that officers recovered a Guatemalan passport that did not belong to him. Police were unable to determine immediately whether the passport had been stolen. Court records cited by the Sun-Times show a warrant was issued June 1 after Isaya-Corrales failed to appear in the shoplifting case. Available public information does not establish that the warrant or shoplifting allegation caused the October 26 encounter with the FBI agent. Isaya-Corrales had also been charged in a separate case involving damage to a woman’s windshield, but that case was dismissed. Life at Pacific Garden Mission Police records listed Pacific Garden Mission, 527 W. 14th Place, as a previous address for Isaya-Corrales. Shelter employees said he stayed there from January through March and returned for several weeks in May. One employee remembered his bleached hair and described him as “the fun guy around” who did not cause problems. Another shelter worker recalled that Isaya-Corrales said he had immigrated from Venezuela at least five years earlier and had no family in the Chicago area. Isaya-Corrales reportedly struggled with drug addiction and sometimes joined people seeking work near a local Home Depot. Public Record Remains Incomplete Available records establish that Isaya-Corrales was shot multiple times during an encounter involving an FBI agent. Chicago officers reportedly arrived to find the federal agent aiming his firearm at the wounded man. A handgun was recovered underneath a nearby bicycle. Medical Examiner records establish that Isaya-Corrales died from multiple gunshot wounds at 6:18 p.m. and officially classify his death as a homicide. FBI acknowledges its involvement and says an internal review is underway. Chicago police documented the shooting internally but issued no public communication located by SubX.News through October 27. Neither agency has publicly released a complete account of the encounter that ended with the death of Oscar D. Isaya-Corrales. The co-pilot (reported as an Omani national) stabbed the captain and allegedly tried to crash or seize the plane. Israeli passengers and crew subdued him; the flight diverted safely to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. Investigation ongoing as possible terror attempt.

NEW: Drug cartels are rapidly advancing their drone capabilities — and U.S. officials are now concerned they could be learning from the battlefield. There are reports cartel affiliates are being sent to the Russia-Ukraine war to gain battlefield experience — potentially bringing those skills back to Mexico. A @StateDept spokesperson saying, “The Department of State takes seriously reports of transnational criminal organizations’ growing use of drone technology and tracks the issue closely… The Department of State engages U.S. law enforcement and Ukrainian counterparts to adopt measures to mitigate the risk of battlefield skills transfer and apply lessons from Ukrainian counter-UAS experience to counter the cartel drone threat.” In a statement, @CBP telling @NewsNation, “In fiscal year 2025, CBP detected over 42,000 near-border, unmanned drone flights. This fiscal year, detections have exceeded that number… Cartels use drones to conduct surveillance on U.S. law enforcement, to move illegal narcotics across the border into the United States, and to guide illegal aliens across the border. Inside Mexico, cartels use weaponized drones against rival cartels, law enforcement, and military personnel to evade arrest and capture. They continue to advance their drone technology and tactics, to conceal their movements and operations. President Trump’s executive orders and overall focus on cartels and air dominance has empowered CBP to combat and mitigate cartels’ use of drones. Additional technology resources have benefited border security operations.  CBP continues to deploy multi-sensor capabilities on the border to increase detection and mitigation effectiveness.” H/t @Jackie_Koppell

This is hilarious because it’s true. If the immigrants were younger, more beautiful women then all of a sudden women would be in favour of closing the borders in an instant 😂 @punchbagstudios

THE GAME HAS CHANGED. 🚨 The administration just dropped a $5 million deal for Liberia to accept 1,200 third-country deportees over the next year. The word is spreading fast through the migrant community: you are no longer just being sent back to your country of origin. If you are deported, you could be shipped to an entirely different continent. The panic is real. Immigrants are throwing massive hissy fits at the tarmac, with some faking medical emergencies and being rolled out on stretchers and wheelchairs the second they find out they're heading to West Africa. But the administration isn't backing down. They’ve already lined up third-country agreements with places like Ghana, Eswatini, Rwanda, and South Sudan. By simply threatening to send people to other continents, the administration has struck total fear into the community. This is exactly why we are seeing a massive wave of self-deportations. People would rather leave on their own terms than risk waking up in Africa. ✈️👇 #Deportation #BorderCrisis #LiberiaDeal #ImmigrationUpdate #SelfDeportation #BreakingNews #AnttsInc. #AnttsHasQuestions

🚨 NOW: Sen. John Husted (R-OH) is obliterating Sherrod Brown (D) at the RNC by linking him to STEALING AMERICANS' MONEY for illegal aliens and foreign fraudsters "Democrats seem to fight harder for people who are in this country illegally than they do for American citizens and families. It's also hard to explain why Joe Biden and Sherrod Brown raised our taxes to fund benefits for illegal and shipped our jobs to China!" "This is a crazy thing. He fought to allow men in women's sports and demanded that we call mothers pregnant persons and he wanted to put that in law!" "He's not on our side. And this election, this fall, comes down to some clear questions for working families." "Do you want to keep more of what you earn or do you want to see more of your hard-earned money go to Washington for failures and fraud? Which one is it? You want to keep more of what you earn! Shouldn't we let working families keep more of what they earn?" "I won't stop fighting for that principle. I will not stop fighting for you. May God bless Ohio and God bless the working families of the United States of America." 🇺🇸 Perfect attack line. Ohio is RED, it's pro-Trump, and they ALREADY voted out Sherrod Brown once for the betrayal!
