This is a wonderful article written by a Bellevue East student. We appreciate all of our drivers like Paul that build lasting relationships with their students. #Teambps #busdrivers

Thank you @bps_transport for getting the @missionbraves 8th graders to and from their celebration today. As we played games we tried to drive as safe as you!!
We would like to congratulate one of our very own @MarioMe18471212. Mario completed the year long Leadership Academy through @BellevueSchools. As one of the Leaders in Transportation we were glad that the rest of our district was able to see what we do on a daily basis.
The Bellevue Girls Wrestling Team did it again last night! @BellevueSchools Transportation Driver Paul transported Coach Bryan Irsik, his staff and the team to Seward High School yesterday. The team came home after a long day of wrestling with another Championship Trophy.
We would like to congratulate the @BellGirlWrestle for their dominating 64 point victory at Plattview last week. Our driver Dan was honored to drive such an impressive team. Congratulations to Coach Irsik and his staff on the great performance. #TeamBPS
This view every morning from @TSWildcats_BPS is a great reason to apply to drive a bus for @BellevueSchools. You can apply here to see for yourself. bellevuene.schoolspring.com/

It’s not the best weather but we’re excited to transport our Veterans Day Parade participants. You’ll see three buses in the parade today. All three will be driven by U.S. Military Veterans, two Air Force and one Army. We have numerous Veterans driving with us. #ThankAVeteran
Thank you to our drivers, mechanics, dispatchers and staff for their hard work, patience and safe driving today. Fog doesn’t get much thicker than that and they transported children from as far South La Platte and as far West as Boystown. #TeamBps does it again.

National School Bus Safety Week – Day 3!
Today’s focus: Bus rider safety!
Students play an important role in keeping every ride safe. Remind your children to:
-Arrive at the bus stop early and wait in a safe spot.
-Stay seated and face forward while the bus is moving.
-Keep the aisle clear and listen to the driver’s instructions.
-Always look both ways before crossing the street after getting off the bus.
Safe habits help everyone get to school and back home without incident!

National School Bus Safety Week Day 2!
Today’s reminder: Stay alert in school zones and neighborhoods. Children can be unpredictable especially when they’re excited to get to or from school. Slow down, avoid distractions, and always watch for kids crossing the street near bus stops.
A little extra caution goes a long way in keeping our students safe!

Please take note of this picture. You must treat the bus stop arm just as you would a stop sign. The biggest difference between the two is that once the stop arm comes in the bus is going to move. Please do not overtake it.

National School Bus Safety Week Day 1!
This week we’re joining schools and communities across the country to highlight the importance of keeping our students safe on and around the school bus.
Today’s tip: Always stop for flashing red lights and an extended stop arm. It’s not just courteous it’s the law. Children are loading or unloading, and a few extra seconds of patience can prevent a tragedy.
Let’s all do our part to make every ride to and from school a safe one!

Our driver Andy had the honor of driving @ChieftainNation to @HastingsCollege for an art competition and visit. These trips are earned by veteran drivers by feedback from sponsors and their safe driving skills shown over time.
Thank you to Tater and @OfcHobbs for stopping by Transportation today. They always leave a smile on our faces when they leave. That could be from laughing so hard too. Always a good day seeing them both.
