Thank you to everyone who packed the room for Ministry By Design on Vision Day, and grateful to @RockRMS for allowing me to share at #RX26! If you missed Vision Day or want to continue putting Ministry By Design into practice, I'm leading a hands-on workshop today at 10:50 AM: Seven Systems That Turn Curious Visitors Into Church Family.
The room was packed for this Vision Day Breakout Session on Ministry By Design where church leaders and executives got to hear how ministries should work together as interconnected systems rather than a set of programs.

First time carving pumpkins with the kids, and I think they turned out great! The pipe cleaner hair was all their idea 🎃 Happy Halloween!

My son has appointed himself my plank coach. No cheating allowed, and apparently no getting up either 😅

If your board asked tomorrow, could you explain what AI work you approved, why you approved it, what data you verified with, and what you'd do if it turned out to be wrong? Which of those four questions is hardest for your team?

My first @CITRT conference, and I didn't want to walk in knowing no one. Conference Scout sorted the speakers and partners into Must, Should, and Nice to meet, with a note for each. I sent a few ahead and said hi to my Musts. It made #CITN26 way more fun. x.ai/bot/Ygcb3_ZvI---oImohDs…

Once your @RockRMS AI agent is live, read a sample of what staff are prompting it. Kingdom City does this, and it's one of my favorite habits from @triumphmtech's Rollout Ladder. Anyone else doing this yet?

Prepping for my #RX26 workshop, and one question keeps coming to mind: where does your church lose people? Getting noticed, getting connected, getting cared for? In Seven Systems That Turn Curious Visitors Into Church Family (Nov 4), we'll find your church's lowest broken system and pick one thing to try. Bring yours!

The kids have been dreaming up their own coloring pages lately. Today’s lineup: a bunny in heart sunglasses when cocoa and a cupcake, and a bear with a large jug of chocolate milk. Great use for AI!

Advice I give AI agents and new hires alike: if a choice is cheap and easy to undo, make your best guess. If it's costly or can't be undone, show me the options before you pick one. What would you add?

Briefing an agent the way you'd brief someone new to the role is step 3 of our Seven Steps to Building an Agentic Workflow: triumph.tech/article/buildin…

Three weeks until our AI Agentic Cohort starts. If your team is ready to hand AI real work, it's three live sessions with Claude Cowork starting Nov 17.

Before #CITN26, I wondered if Grok @bot could help me figure out who to meet, so I built Conference Scout. Now anyone can use it. Tell it the event and your goal for going. It ranks who to meet and drafts a note for each, and nothing sends until you OK it. x.ai/bot/Ygcb3_ZvI---oImohDs…

Took my parents out to DoGood’s Tavern in Myerstown, this weekend. Great food, great conversation, and even better company. Grateful for time with them!

One rule I'd put in every church AI policy: an agent can draft the email, and only a person can send it. In @RockRMS you can turn drafting on for the whole staff and leave sending off. Where does your team draw that line?

If you're writing your church's AI policy, our free template is a good place to start. It covers what data should never go into AI, how to approve tools, and using AI to sharpen your work rather than outsource it. triumph.tech/article/free-ai…

#RX26 is a week from Tuesday! I'm leading Ministry By Design on Vision Day and a hands-on workshop, Seven Systems That Turn Curious Visitors Into Church Family. Who's heading to Phoenix?
There's a major gap left by operating systems like EOS, but after hearing about the Ministry By Design framework, your leaders will be trained to diagnose what's broken so that your programs operate as interconnected systems. Learn more and register at rx.rockrms.com/xsocial26
