Some battles are silent. Some feelings are never spoken. But that doesn't mean they aren't deeply felt.

Over afternoon tea,
Why do African leaders loot their own nations with such insatiable appetite?
Is there a VIP entrance fee to Heaven, or are they booking suites in Hell with air conditioning?
Look at the Gulf States. They took barren desert sand and built global financial hubs, world class healthcare, and massive sovereign wealth funds for their citizens.
Africa has 30% of the world's mineral reserves, vast arable land, and massive oil deposits yet stays poor. Why?

If peace had been restored between the Turkana and Pokot communities from the beginning, what we are witnessing today could have been avoided.
WHY? WHO? WHEN? AND WHO IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE OF TURKANA?
Why should communities continue losing lives while the government watches? Why are security officers allegedly implicated in corruption and collusion with armed groups still being entrusted with the responsibility of protecting innocent civilians? These allegations must be investigated, and anyone found culpable must face the law.
Must our people take to the streets, demonstrate and risk their lives before the government listens? Must innocent civilians continue dying for their cries to be heard?
We demand the immediate restoration of peace and security in Turkana and West Pokot. Why must Kainuk, Lokori, Kalomwae and Kapedo remain recurring scenes of insecurity, bloodshed and mourning?
Our people deserve to live, not to die waiting for government intervention.
Let this be clear: We are demanding accountability, justice and lasting peace, not confrontation. Must our people face live bullets from the very security officers mandated to protect them before their suffering receives national attention?
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! THE LIVES OF TURKANA PEOPLE MATTER, AND THE GOVERNMENT MUST ACT BEFORE MORE INNOCENT LIVES ARE LOST.
