🎃🙏Update: it’s 3:23 am here.
Thank you all for the outpouring of prayers and support for the three of us. I can’t put into words how much it means to me especially right now in this moment when I can’t sleep due to worry I’m here reading your beautiful messages and prayers.
I have an update on my Mom and Super Bubba.
We will start with Super Bubba: after a very long nap today he woke up and ate a little bit and then we carved pumpkins 🎃 even colored them and himself. He had a great time and so did Chubba.
Update on my Mom Terry:
Her surgery started and stopped. They found new tumors on her liver. She’s no longer considered operable. They told her she would need to return to treatment and to her oncologist to discuss the options.
I asked if they sampled the tumor while they were in there. They did. I told them to send it for genetic testing so we can find out the tumor genetics and match her with possible treatment options.
She was still heavily medicated when they were talking to her, and I think she’ll have a clearer mind after a good night’s sleep.
It’s not a pretty update, but it’s the update I have to share. I’m still praying that God sees her through this.
I know God has seen me through my worst days because I’m still here and still praying with all my heart 🙏💛

Super Bubba and family. 🎗️🎃
Super Bubba, our three-year-old brain cancer warrior, was Mickey Mouse last year while battling cancer in his prostate.
As seen on the video, at one stop he pulled out his bag of Goldfish to keep and then dumped his entire bucket of candy into their bowl. 🥹
He’s so sweet and loves to feed people just like his momma.
His smile says it all. He has a heart of gold. 💛
This year he’s battling brain cancer and plans to be T-Rex. 🦖
I’m so grateful he’s still here with us this Halloween, and I’m praying with all my heart we get to find out what he wants to be next year and beyond. 🙏

🚨Prayer warrior update 🙏
An update and a heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of prayers and support for my Mom Terry, Super Bubba, and the rest of my family.
She is all checked into the hospital and waiting to be called back to the OR prep room. Once her surgery begins, she was told it would be a 4-5 hour surgery. I have asked to be called with updates from the OR nurse, and I’m hoping that happens.
Heavenly Father, please guide the surgical team and watch over Terry. Give her strength, a smooth surgery, and a full recovery. Surround our family with Your peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

He doesn’t have much energy, and it’s hard seeing him so quiet when he’s usually up and playing with baby Chubba.

Super Bubba’s latest update:
Super Bubba is at clinic right now getting chemo. It’s been a rough week adjusting to the GI tube and all the new meds. They’re making him feel pretty miserable, and it’s so hard watching him struggle.
Please pray his labs look good today and that these targeted medications are doing exactly what they’re supposed to do: working on that brain tumor and keeping it from growing even shrinking it.
He’s been so brave through all of this. I hate seeing him in pain, but we’re holding onto hope and trusting God with every step.
We are praying boldly for his second miracle, please pray with us.

His labs looked good today, no major red flags there! His weight is down three pounds since his last weigh-in, so we’re definitely praying his appetite returns.
He is all done at clinic and on his way home.
