This is why I need 200 hours of co-op activities with a person before I even consider sex. Before having sex you must defeat me in chess, share 30 meals and go on 20 walks like an achievement diary

When I talk about the weather it isn’t small talk. I actually care about it and I want to discuss
I thought that was AI. Sour patch kids must have an incredible person in charge of brand collaborations because they get collabs that never should have happened. Who tf wants sour patch kids oreos? I love the candy but the collabs are crazy
I think it’s a tactic to drive sales through shock value and just continually move to the next collab
BIG UPDATE: introducing Mazzap v2. It's a map and it's an app and I'm Mr. Mazza and I'm building the Mazzstack for your singularity slow life needs.
Open source agroecological palantir for the people!!
We have a LOT of new features for all of your land management needs. Let's get into it!
- Automatic fetchers to build your own virtually embodied intelligent land (VEIL) from public data!
In v1, you had to prep your own data in QGIS to get started. No longer! Just draw a polygon on a map of the US and generate your very own georefrenced land model!
- Tree typing and species estimation
We use LiDAR data and NAIP imagery to distinguish your deciduous from evergreen trees and then we apply another filter of LANDFIRE EVT classes to estimate the species of each tree! It's not perfect, but it works reasonably well!
- Hydrology simulation engine
You can now run various simulations to identify spring spot candidates on your land and estimate water flow in given situations, like a rainstorm or snow melt over a certain period of time. Very useful for planning your swales and such!
-QField Integration!!
I dont love the UX of the app, but QField is a preexisting open source mobile surveying app with integrations to QGIS. You can now conduct your own citizens surveys of your land and import the data directly into your personal model. It's all local and no one will ever see your data!!
- First person POV simulation
Still early, but walk the model of your land, and even reconstruct the POV of GPS tagged animals. (We're going to use this stuff later for planning drone missions and RL)
- Introducing G.A.I.A.!!
A Geospatial Agroecological Intelligent Agent. (Basically an MCP server LMAO). But basically you can reason over all of your geospatial data with an LLM now, and soon you'll be able to have GAIA take actions on your land too. It's more handy than you think! Check it out. Works GREAT with Hermes and I have a bunch of skills I can share with you
- LIVE TELEMETRY
We're just getting started with meshtastic gateway that can live stream GPS nodes and device telemetry data to the model and display it. Soon we'll have a wifi gateway too. This will also be, in the future, how GAIA starts to take actions on your land! Stay tuned! (this is the coolest part of the video IMO, starts around 2:50)
COMING SOON:
- Time series data visualization, analysis and planning
The architecture is already set up for this, I just need some good data to test with!
- Generative agroecological design
Co-designing earthworks, hydrological, and gardening projects with GAIA. Visualize the results and simulate them--even test out multiple branches. This will be fun
- Forecasting
Take the simulations to the next level. Project tree growth 5, 10, 15 years out. Will support branching too!
- Proactive analysis
Part and parcel with time series data: GAIA will start to notice patterns, flag areas of concern, and become an active stewardship partner for your land management needs!
- YOUR IDEAS!
It's 100% free and open source. The repo is in the link below. Let's all build the future together!
Everyone should care about meteorology, topology and the natural science of your local area. Where does your counties water come from? What’s going on with the ground beneath your feet and the sky above your head?
Something to consider. Sediment and waterways, underwater basins, important stuff like that
