Attention people of Earth:
BREAKING: Bank of England told to prepare for a market crash if the United States announces Alien Life.
Helen McCaw who served as a senior analyst in financial security at the UK’s central bank sounded the alarm.
She has now written to Andrew Bailey, the Bank’s governor, urging him to organize contingencies for the possibility that the White House may confirm we are not alone in the universe.

A large trans-equatorial hole (dark region) is on the Sun and will blast Earth with high-speed solar wind after connecting to our planet with its magnetic field. Additionally some interesting activity from a sunspot group (4334) just below the coronal hole. Two big shockwave explosions but no CMEs launched outwards according to coronagraph imagery.

Fuck man. RIP Val Kilmer
Val Kilmer, a homegrown Hollywood actor who tasted leading-man stardom as Jim Morrison and Batman, but whose protean gifts and elusive personality also made him a high-profile supporting player, has died at 65. nytimes.com/2025/04/01/movie…

On March 6, 1987, the greatest Christmas movie of all time hit screens. LETHAL WEAPON had everything: a burnt-out suicidal cop living in a trailer on the beach, Vietnam veterans, Phoenix Program (though they called it "project" in the movie), Shadow Company, Special Forces tattoos, mercury switches, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, snipers, 9mm Berettas, Alfred, Dixie, General Peter McAllister, Michael Hunsacker, Amanda Hunsacker, Mr. Joshua, and Burbank the Cat. This movie premiered at a very formative time in my youth and certainly did nothing to dissuade me from answering the call to serve my country in special operations. It's a good night to carve out a little time for Riggs and Murtaugh.
Anyone else a huge fan of this film?

Its happening: Man and machine are merging. Kurzweil was right!
Australian company Cortical Labs has unveiled the world's first biological computer that combines human brain cells with silicon hardware.
Known as Synthetic Biological Intelligence (SBI), this system enables the formation of dynamic neural networks that learn faster and more flexibly than conventional AI systems.
The CL1 was officially launched in Barcelona on March 2, 2025 and is expected to be available in the second half of 2025.
The technology is based on previous research that trained 800,000 human and mouse neurons on a chip to play the video game Pong.
The CL1 now provides a platform that allows researchers to use this technology without specialized hardware or software. Customers can either purchase the CL1 or access it through the Cortical Cloud to work with the cultured cells.
Potential applications of the CL1 range from drug research and clinical testing to the development of intelligent robotics.
The system is energy efficient and does not require an external computer for control. The developers emphasize that SBI is more natural than conventional AI because it is based on biological neurons, which are also the basis of human intelligence.
The introduction of the CL1 marks a significant advance in the fusion of biology and technology and could have far-reaching implications for various scientific and medical fields.
