Thomas Mahler, director of No Rest for the Wicked and creator of Ori, has launched a new review site called VideoGamesCritic.
He wants give players more weight than professional critics, Two-thirds of the score comes from Steam users, while critics make up the remaining third.
Mahler says sites like Metacritic and OpenCritic mainly show what critics thought about a game, while his site focuses more on what the people actually playing it think.
“Press still counts, it just can’t outvote the people who bought the game.”
The site also gives reviewers and outlets a trust score based on how closely their opinions match player reactions.
It also takes newer Steam reviews more seriously, so a game that improves over time can see its score change.
Mahler calls VideoGamesCritic “the one source of truth for gamers.”

It's still not attached to your account, it's a physical license that you can resell and share. It's obviously way more desirable to have it on the disc but even this is better than a digital purchase.

Also because AC Rogue used 90% of Black Flag assets from HUD Design, Menu and even animations.
I would do everything for AC Rogue Resynced and there is SO much potential with this title.
I do hope Black Flag Resynced is the one. If it's recieved well, it could be the catalyst for a Remake of AC Rogue. Weirdly, I'd rather see Rogue get that treatment than AC1 or the Ezio Trilogy.
Rogue needs it. The premise is so unique, but it always felt like the game only scratched the surface of Shay's transformation. There is so much more they could explore there. Please expand on it.
