A Honduran man who sexually assaulted a teenage boy in a gym changing room has been given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay his victim €5k.
Judge Martin Nolan noted today that the defendant has lost his job and possibly his status in the country as a result of his offending.

Yesterday Fingal County Council adopted a plan for up to 15,000 homes on the edge of Dublin 15. A new town of up to 40,000 people.
I voted against it. I was the only councillor who did.
I asked who the homes are for. Voted down. I asked what migration figures it's built on. No answer. I asked that nobody's land be compulsorily taken. Voted down.
