“Watch UConn play, and watch Purdue play, UConn is a better team. They have a sophisticated offense, and they’re doing it without their big man. How would Purdue do without Edey? The Big East is a different zip code than the Big 10” - @THANS50

The best part is the Texans using the Deshaun Watson trade and picks from Cleveland to build their team and drop 45 points on the Browns in the playoffs.
Smoked the rumored o/u line of 7.5….

Xavier plays No. 3, No. 5 (2x), No. 6 (2x), No. 7, No. 8 (2x), No. 14 (2x), No. 20 (2x), and one of either No. 12 or 18 this season from @John_Fanta's Preseason Top 25.
This is why I won’t buy the book. Not because I have an infinity to Rory but because you put time and effort into the book and the interest drivers come from an anonymous player that may or may have not said that. Get it on record or have the stones to name names! #bebetter
And I think we are using ‘donating’ pretty liberally when all expenses are paid, pensions and charities (their own namesake charities) are funded at the end of the day. Not to mention the upside bump in endorsement/ sponsor contracts backside.
Replying to @brianpolark
If players can’t see the upside of ‘donating’ their brand for a weekend every 2 years they can’t be helped and a team would be better off without them.
Fans would rather have a guy not invested go sheep hunting then have him show up be a malcontent and not buy into the program. Give me less talent with more buy in and let’s go from there.
This a bad player, friendly take. Players should be able to do the calculation of what means more - representing your country for a weekend every two years or taking the weekend off and dealing with the fallout from said decision.
I agree with this taek. It’s super hot currently but there seems to be a gap between what the company is ‘whispering about’ in the good times and the execution in the lean times.
The US’s captaincy cupboard is pretty bare. Justin Leonard at Adare? Can we start to transition this core group of Furyk/ Couples/ Love/ Stricker/Cink out finally?
Replying to @BigRandyNLU
I’m hereby officially in favor of Phil for captain at Adare Manor. The whole deal in this thing is who can win on the road, so the next interesting captain needs to be 2027. Let Phil get as weird as he wants.
