Elon Musk: roughly 120000 net direct private sector jobs via Tesla (from ~17800 in 2016 to ~135000 in 2025), SpaceX (from ~5000 to ~15000-22000), Neuralink, Boring Company and related firms over the past decade. Bernie Sanders: 0. He has held elected office since the 1980s with no private-sector companies employing people in that period.

Aaron Rodgers sat at that podium in Paris and said out loud what the corporate league office spends millions trying to sanitize. The NFL talks endlessly about “player safety” and “expanding the global game.” But behind closed doors, owners scrapped player-friendly bye weeks, forced a brutal 17th regular-season game, and shipped franchises across oceans simply because there was another dollar to squeeze out of foreign TV markets. While families and players navigate locked-down streets, civil tension, and grueling travel schedules, ownership sits in five-star suites counting international expansion checks. Rodgers doesn't care about league fines anymore. He’s telling you the truth: in the modern NFL, the brand and the balance sheet come first. The humans on the field come second.

That’s three in a row for the Flyboys. That’s a winning streak. Great job by these young hungry players to make the most of their opportunities. 3-6-3. They’re getting there.

Worst regular season OT formats. 1. NHL Shootout 2. MLB Ghost Runner 3. NFL 10 min OT with tie 4. NBA 5 min OT Can’t we let these millionaires just play the game ? Boo hoo if they have to play longer. Ridiculous

Why is Porter Martone playing less than 13 minutes? @billmeltzer

Phillies are long gone. Our QB has a blood clot and our RB a bad hammy. Our hockey team is 0-6-3 and looks like the 75 Washington Capitals. I’m not a big NBA fan, but go Sixers. Good times !!

Funny how the house has no problem whatsoever when they have all the advantages but let someone find an edge and then, they cry foul.
Professional poker player Phil Ivey won $9.6 million at the Borgata. The casino paid him, then sued to get it back. At London’s Crockfords, he won another £7.7 million. They refused to pay. In the video below, Ivey says his job is to play the game, find a weakness in the casino and use it to win. He calls the casino his opponent and points out that it spends millions of dollars protecting its games. He wanted a specific brand of cards, a Cantonese-speaking dealer and the same decks reused. The casinos agreed. His playing partner, Cheung Yin Sun, asked the dealer to rotate certain cards, presenting it as a matter of luck. The cards had tiny differences along their backs. Once high-value cards faced one way and the others faced the opposite way, those differences helped identify what was coming next. Ivey never marked the cards. The dealer handled them. But the casino didn’t understand what those requests were doing to the odds. He called it an advantage. The casinos called it cheating. In 2017, the UK Supreme Court ruled against him: persuading the dealer to arrange the cards crossed the line. The casino had approved his requests while expecting to win. Ivey knew something about its own cards that it didn’t. Was he cheating, or should a casino know its own game before accepting someone’s money?

I’m not sure I will have the patience it’s going to require to wait to see if David Jiricek will ever be a good player.

Todd Bowles will get fired tonight if they lose this game. What a stupid call. How do you not kick a field goal there and take a three score lead with eight minutes left?

Nice job here, Chase.
Hey, Stephen A. Smith: Lane Johnson's mom has cancer. His dad is also sick. I read your book and you talked about how difficult your life got when your mom got sick and after she passed, you had to go to therapy because you were depressed and you took time off of work. Your mocking Lane Johnson's mental health struggles when you've been open about your own mental health struggles? Come on, man. I know you're busy, but do some research before going on TV @stephenasmith #Eagles

Listen, I sell the stuff and use it everyday, but it's getting more than frustrating how AI has made me so skeptical of everything that I see that is even remotely appealing to my senses. I'm now conditioned to feel that nothing is real any longer and the world is a stage.
