I don't know why this hasn't received more publicity, but this fifty-foot sculpture was unveiled recently in South Dakota.
It's called 'Dignity' and was done by artist Dale Lamphere to honor the women of the Sioux Nation.

Confused and saddened by @metmuseum ‘s decision to erase Ayvazovsky’s true heritage (Armenian) and write it off as Ukrainian. By shifting the identity of an artist of a marginalized group in favor of another doesn’t bring honor nor does it amplify Ukrainian art or identity.
