Don't keep your secrets in environment variables. Railway's breach and the PHP exploit both landed this week. Joel's advice after Railway: move secrets out of env vars, and put a proxy between you and your LLM so you can see what's leaving.

Intelligent Audit tried 4 or 5 vendors before Browserless. "Everybody was either questionably secure, unsecure, or just completely out there." Browserless was the simplest to set up. They now run 1,000-1,500 UPS logins a day and file over 90% of claims through automation.

Logged-in checkouts are the hard part of agent payments. Watch an agent on Browserless handle one end-to-end. With one prompt in Claude Code, the agent signs in with a saved profile, finds the top-up page, and waits for your approval in Stripe before anything is charged. You never typed a password or a card number. The saved profile handled the login, and Stripe issued a one-time card for that payment. US only, up to $50 per purchase.

Most agents reach checkout and stop. Nobody hands a model a real card number. Your Browserless agent can now pay with Stripe Link. You approve every charge, and each purchase uses a one-time card the agent never sees. Available for US users paying in USD, up to $50 per purchase. Docs: na2.hubs.ly/H08lMLW0

"You guys actually spend time trying to help us debug our own code." Intelligent Audit logs into FedEx, UPS and DHL portals thousands of times a day on Browserless. When their own automation code broke, our engineers dug in and sent back snippets and working code.

How long does a new vendor sit in your security review? Intelligent Audit holds its customers' carrier logins and banking details. They run Browserless self-hosted, so that data stays in-house.

Autologin with 1Password now gets through sites that email you a login code. Pick an Email OTP inbox for each site, and it fills the code for you. Profile logged out? Recover it in place using your 1Password credentials. /smart-scrape can now click, type, and scroll before it captures the page. Full October changelog → na2.hubs.ly/H08dxNX0

Live URLs now work on every Browserless plan, including Free. Your script pauses, a real person opens a link and drives the browser for a moment, then the script carries on with that same session. 2FA codes, captchas, anything a script should not be doing on its own. Free sessions also went from 1 minute to 2, so there is time to actually do it.

Every stealth plugin patches the browser from inside your script. The patch itself is what detection vendors fingerprint. So we put the hardening in the browser and wrapped it in a Puppeteer-shaped SDK. Same method names, stealth already on. npm i @browserless.io/bap-ts

"If Browserless were not there, they'd have to move the case file by hand, which would be crazy." One court case file can hold 400 to 450 entries. Every entry means a PDF downloaded, uploaded and logged. Pragma Legal does that in the background instead, on a session that stays logged in long enough to finish the file and reconnects if it drops. Full story in the comment.

Getting past bot detection once is easy. Keeping it that way isn't. BAP is a stealth-first SDK. If you've written Puppeteer or Playwright, you already know the methods. The browser runs on our side, so there's no stealth patch to keep current. Residential proxies are built in, routed by country. Typing runs at human pace. When a challenge still shows up, one solve() call clears it. TypeScript is out now, shaped like Puppeteer. Python is next, shaped like Playwright. Free tier, no card. npm install @browserless.io/bap-ts

"I am not a programmer. I am actually a lawyer." Hernán Napolitano set up Browserless himself in about an hour and a half, with an AI assistant pointed at our API docs. It signs into the court portal as the lawyer and pulls their case files out. That is the step his whole app runs on.
