I love that the largest comeback in NBA Finals history is still the Celtics 24 point comeback over the Lakers in 2008.
I can’t believe that comeback! And with Trump, assaults, the refs, the 29 point deficit you have to hand it to NKY players they will go down as an all-time great team if they win this series which I think they will.
The issue in the 1st half wasn’t the refs it was the Spurs crazy shooting. That ended and NYK is making a run. The greatest comeback in NBA history is on the table now.
The @nyknicks had control, went back to NYC and the focus shifted from the players to the owner and Trump. They should have come home conquering heroes, instead they were an afterthought whose fans had to navigate a police state to get to the game. Today the focus is the refs.
The @NBA has turned into an officiating and replay showcase, less about who plays better than who works the refs and uses challenges. When the biggest plays are ref’s decisions on a replay and “will they challenge” is more discussed than the players or strategy it’s a problem.
I want to see @nyknicks in finals. I’m a @celtics fan and the league is better if NYK is in the mix. Plus @RealChalamet on screen for free is a bargain. @jalenbrunson1 is legit super star! Fans are on the “Boston” level (crazy) and I hate-love them! @BenStiller + Spike need it!
The @okcthunder are a fun “villain”. They are Laimbeers (within rules) + SGA plays the game within the game like Bird or Jordan and he’s the most consistent great player in the game. You can’t move him off his roll. Coach is smart, team plays hard every night, crowd is psychotic!
Saw @nyknicks fans throw garbage at the @Pacers fan. We wait to throw garbage until we’ve won the O’Brien trophy in Boston. I realize NY is tired of waiting but would be cool if they were less like @stephenasmith on @espn, and more like @BenStiller and Spike Lee. That was awful.
One thing that made seeing the @celtics lose to the @nyknicks easier is how awful the @espn @NBA show is with @stephenasmith in fan mode (every show) and last night’s classless attack on Boston. It’s why nobody watches the NY sports hour - TNT’s guys are professionals AND fans.
As a @celtics fan it’s a good sign to have @KendrickPerkins back hating on the team again. I thought the season was over until he said they won’t win again in the playoffs. The guy is always wrong so heads up C’s fans!
