Dude is a hard worker. Great to see it’s paying off for Towns. Lucky to have coached him in HS. Even better person.

Dude always getting work done. @jacksonlyon22 getting it done at the next level. Fun watching him for 4 years.
"Jackson Lyon was probably our best hitter this fall. I mean he hit the ball HARD. He used his COVID time off better than anyone. He came back this fall much stronger & faster. He worked on the right things to improve his game.”

This is great stuff...especially since it is all 1B related. This is the stuff that is important but doesn’t get nearly the attention it should during practices.

Professional bullpens are thrown with deliberate intensity.
Pitchers are deliberate with their time and dont rush one pitch to the next. This breeds a focus on each pitch that creates an intensity which allows something productive with each rep. #STdrills

@jakelarson41 outstanding competitor! Best of luck in your Senior year.
Now we introduce the first pitcher of the #GetToKnowYourBlues countdown. This guy brings no shortage of volume to the yard everyday and he can sling it from multiple angles. Introducing senior rhp, @jakelarson41

Having studied both Jake & Pedro extensively, from the high point of his leg-lift through foot-strike, Pedro had better hip/glute lead & COG positioning. A very important part of the delivery.
...Hitters probably don’t like hearing that deGrom has room for improvement. 👍🏻

Today, I’ve seen some stat comps & overlays here on Twitter for two great pitchers, Pedro & deGrom. While their stats may closely match & the pitch overlays from the CF angle look very similar, I strongly believe deGrom’s delivery could improve if he better matched Pedro here:
