The response to Halo continues to be tremendous, and we've been thrilled to see so much creativity on display since we released the SDK a few weeks ago.
As a result, supply is dwindling! The next few weeks will be the final window to purchase at the $349 price point. Once we go live in production the week of July 20, Halo's price will increase to $399 until it is sold out. So for those who haven't already, time to secure the best price possible.

For decades, computing has connected us with information and each other.
But it has also conditioned us toward passive consumption:
pseudo-science
product recommendations
self-help tips
short-form videos
Always chasing the next microdose of dopamine on the content treadmill.
🛠️🚀
It’s a bird! it’s a plane! It’s… the SDK (and docs) for Halo!
Our purpose in releasing this open source has always been to empower anyone to shape the future of intelligent computing.
This is the first step and we’re excited to see what you build.

AI glasses will further reshape human connection — the question is: how.
🤝 Open source and privacy are two halves of the same foundation: trust.
As AI glasses become more pervasive — listening, seeing, remembering, acting — trust becomes non-negotiable.
❤️ At the heart of this is a belief in human dignity.
That’s why we’re the only glasses company processing all rich media locally on-device 📲
Because if a system is not also open — if there is no path toward deeper understanding — then “privacy” is simply a marketing claim.
🤖 AI glasses are starting to feel repetitive.
🏭 Same factory aesthetics.
🤡 Same “outsource your brain” demos.
🤦🏻 Same shallow promise: “be the smartest person in the room.”
We’re missing the deeper question:
🎯 Why should these devices exist in our lives at all?
Because if the answer is simply “consume more content” or “feel smarter,” then I think we’ve failed to imagine what this category could really become.
It’s not enough to build another AI gadget.

Zayn is testing whether Halo remembers his weekend better than he does. So far: yes 🤓

More interestingly, other companies, like Brilliant Labs, which is set to release its Halo smart glasses, are only using its smart glasses for AI and nothing else—that means no photography or videos.
