There is nothing shameful nor embarrassing about menstruation and the menstrual cycle as it is a natural cycle occurring in most mammalian species. It is important to destigmatize menstruation and not propagates hysteria surrounding menstruation.

He was clearly trying to prove a point by commanding her to get water. There’s a way to ask your partner for something without making it seem like you’re trying to establish authority over them, especially in front of a camera.
The same way you expect her to play along, you should respect her enough not to belittle her to prove a point to strangers on the internet. I actually love that she didn’t do it. Your relationship isn’t a performance, and your partner shouldn’t have to sacrifice their dignity to entertain people online.
