its not even suspension of belief like someone said it's. comedy. it's like pen15 & overcompensating where actors are meant to look visibly older than they are for comedic effect, in this case they are older but created sketches about teenagers and it became a tv show

I’m a Canadian conservative. I’ve never aligned with the MAGA movement.
I remember an exercise in Grade 12 (many many years ago) where we mapped out Canada USA political spectrum. We learned then how close Canadian progressive conservatives were to USA democrats.
It’s slightly different today. But not different enough that Canadian conservatives suddenly fully align with American republicans. It’s much more nuanced and broad than that.
The majority of Canadian, fit in the 4-8 range (based on % of vote).
Nothing about this should surprise anyone who understands the Canadian political landscape.
