Before calling a launch a failure, separate the problems:
Nobody saw it = distribution
People saw it but left = positioning
They signed up but stopped = activation
They used it once = retention
Different leaks need different fixes.
Vibe coding in 2026:
Day 1: built the whole app
Day 2: fixed what day 1 broke
Day 3: asked AI why day 2 broke
Day 4: finally told someone it exists
Day 4 is the only one that matters.
In 2008 Dropbox wasn't even public yet.
One short screen demo did this.
No ads. No launch team. Just the product doing one thing people already wanted.
The timeline is busy deciding if vibe coding is over.
Most vibe-coded apps don't die because of the code.
They die because nobody ever saw them.
This week at Built:
→ Deleted a project by mistake? It stays in trash for 30 days
→ Change a color or font and see what changed on each screen
→ Before you approve a plan, Built says what it left out
→ Your own photos go straight in, no stock swaps
More next Friday.
Hey X algorithm 👋 Friday check-in from SF.
Show me people who:
• are shipping this weekend, not planning
• built something with AI and now need users
• share real numbers, good weeks and bad
• just got their first paying customer
Weekend builders are my corner of X.
2016: building the app was the hard part.
2026: building the app takes a weekend.
What didn't change:
• finding the first 10 users
• getting them to come back
• getting one of them to pay
The bottleneck moved. Most tools didn't.
levelsio got Battlefield 1942 running on mobile web.
Full multiplayer, in a phone browser.
Claude Code wrote its own layer that translates DirectX calls into WebGL.
The engine used to be the hard part of making a game.
Now the hard part is getting people to play it.
Most AI app builders stop at "your app is live."
Built keeps going:
• tracks where customers come from
• writes and runs the ads
• pauses the ones that don't convert
• sends weekly results in plain numbers
Need a change? Ask in chat.
Early access is open. First month free.

Say hi 👋
Apple just opened Siri AI to every app.
Developers expose actions through App Intents. And app skills are SKILL.md files, a subset of the open Agent Skills standard.
The file format agents already use is now how your app talks to Siri.
Ships to users in the spring.
Hey X algorithm 👋 Thursday check-in from SF.
Show me people who:
• are waiting on App Store review right now 😅
• turned a side project into their first paying users

• would rather ship than plan

Road to 1,500 🧱
This account is for builders: people shipping with AI, marketing their first app, or chasing their first 100 users.
If that's you, follow along. I share what we ship and what we learn, every week.
