Bigots throughout history have sought to use terrible crimes committed by individuals to discriminate against minorities. Anti-migrant and anti-trans campaigners are doing the same today. That's the truth. And no, you won't get me fired for speaking the truth.

It’s National Carers Week. Did you know, it’s estimated 1 in 8 adults in the U.K. fulfil a Carers role, with many feeling isolate or lonely in this position. If you know, or are involved in support services for carers please drop links below 👇

I am entering @SW_student_con team for something. Could some if you help me with evidence? Is anyone willing to send us a quick 'soundbite video' about what you think of the work of the team? They VOLUNTEER to provide weekly webinars. They put so much in and deserve recognition.

Don't really appreciate this posting... it feels insensitive, particularly this week. And while many of us are remarkably talented our abilities lie outside of derisive comments about others, be they professionals or families. Some humility, please, @myswnews.

Agree. @SWbohemians is a prime example of this. Started in lockdown to keep students connected and supported. Now over 4000 followers and multiple social media platforms !

3)Students have played an incredible role during the pandemic & deserve recognition for their contributions. Unis & placement providers also deserve a special shout-out for their hard work, particularly when it comes to supporting students to continue their programmes & graduate

Secondly... What has been an interesting thing you’ve learnt so far? For me, @collinson_rosie it was the roots of the YMCA, and its ties with the beginnings of basketball. If you are my lecturer reading this, I promised I took more away from that lesson 😂
