normal person: “hey did you catch that new movie?”
Dr. Zuzu (Digging to Avatar 4)@ZuzuOnFireOct 25
I hate Letterboxd. I will always hate Letterboxd. It's a toxic, performative place, full of tryhards and idiots. Your reviews aren't good. They aren't funny or wise. You are not erudite enough to articulate your written thoughts on a movie in a way that adds ANY public value.

Scott Boras is main culprit on why their will be a lockout this offseason. His horrific contracts have destroyed baseball. The Top 1% of players and Scott Boras do NOT actually care about everyone else in the league. They only care about themselves. Don't let MLBPA pretend like they care about guys like Nick Gonzales or Jake Mangum because they don't. They only care about the Juan Sotos and the Bryce Harpers. If they actually cared about every player, they would be in favor of a salary cap/floor.

the reason Wemby plays like this is because he’s not strong enough to play any other way. he has to be low with the ball or he will be immediately knocked off his spot and have no leverage to drive. he already frequently goes backward on the catch as it is

Airbnb, like many Silicon Valley companies, was a concerted effort to disrupt the hotel industry and skirt unionized workforces. You don’t have to own the property. Customers pay you to do the work of union housekeeping! It made its founders very wealthy. I root for its demise
Mike Drucker@MikeDruckerOct 22
Airbnb went from a cheap way to crash in a spare bedroom or rent a vacation house for a weekend and turned into "what if hotels openly hated you and acted like they were doing you a favor by letting you give them hundreds of dollars to stay there, and also it's more expensive"

I support artists releasing anniversary editions and remastered versions of their albums, but it does make me sad that some of my favorite albums of all time just have different artwork on streaming platforms now. There’s something so visceral about seeing the original art
