Sneaker Twitter was Shopify pushing an anti bot patch at 9:55 AM before a 10:00 drop.
You had 5 minutes to reverse it, patch the core, compile and push an update to 10k PCs, while those same 10k users were killing your CDN trying to download it.
9:57 AM, Discord going crazy, spinning up mirrors, Union Jordan 1s in 3 minutes.
Somehow we thought this was a normal Saturday.

Is this the model, you guys made know to your users when you were larping on the DePIN narrative, because I was there.
Other notable DePIN networks pay in epochs and they pay in their network tokens because DePINs are meant to be regenerative.
But you guys are preventing it from happening, because of the fear of dumping; why not when unlocks are coming right?
It’s funny how people don’t see some people for who they are, you didn’t provide information on what really is actual and provable work on the network.
So they were lied to and cheated 👏

Point of correction. 170 million tokens (17%) is well above $50M. it is $81.6M.
@grass distributed $3M (1.76%) for their season 2 airdrop and pocketed $78.6M

I used to think @grass was one of the few real success stories where participants could actually earn meaningful rewards.
But in the end, it feels like the team got greedy.
According to the tokenomics, 17% was allocated to the community. Even if we conservatively assume that only 10% was intended for this distribution, that would still be worth around $50 million.
If the community's estimates are correct, the actual distribution falls far below what the tokenomics led participants to expect.
On top of that, any unclaimed rewards will be retained by Grass.
However, the outcome is so extreme that I think there's also a possibility the Rewards Checker itself is incorrect.
If these distribution amounts are accurate, it will be extremely difficult for Grass to maintain its business model and the trust of its community going forward.
