A few days ago, @BrentLindeque posted about Stocard, I decided to build my own version — storemycards.app 1. It still needs a lot of brands to be added 2. Apple Wallet support had to be disabled (for now) 3. Android app is being built 4. Give me feedback, please!
Just tried to use my @Stocard and it gave me this message. It’s joining/becoming @Klarna and is moving across in 14 days… but it doesn’t look like they (Klarna) support South Africa. Well, maybe they do but I’m battling to register an account. Help assemblief.

What a great opening session. Two 50s. 140* off the partnership, and perfect weather.

The gate motor gearbox of our complex gate had jumped off the gears. I was taking a photo (stupidly didn’t first switch off the power) and someone pressed the button… Was very fortunate, the gearbox missed my head because of the power cable, but I have hurt my hip jumping out of the way of a 500kg gate that had nothing holding it in place that would have squished me. Add insult to injury, my left AirPod decide to jump out of my ear and fell down into the drain. Jess rescued it, thankfully.

Hearing people talking about using agents for completely different things. Musicians saving riffs, that they can come back to. And find matching scales.

I've been using Beam a while. Has far surpassed Screen Sharing for me, and it continues to get better and better. Well done to you all @hnshah @SamAsante
In June, @SamAsante and I launched Typeahead, the first product from our new company. Today we're releasing our next Mac app. It's called Beam, and we're live on Product Hunt. I've got Macs all over my house doing different work. Some run agents and local models. Others handle builds. When I want to use one app on another Mac, I usually end up navigating a whole second desktop through Screen Sharing. Beam brings that app's window onto the Mac I'm using. It gets its own Dock icon and shows up in ⌘Tab. I can type into it and resize it while everything keeps running on the other Mac. Sam has put a lot of care into making this feel natural. The video shows it better than I can explain it. Live on Product Hunt → producthunt.com/products/bea…

What could go wrong? I mean, the tech is very cool, but imagine driving to work and a car randomly does a “kickflip” in front of you, and lands in oncoming traffic, or on another car. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but how about we just make cars as safe as possible and provide less distraction on the road. Phone use in cars is already an issue.

I can start driving again from tomorrow. I think my credit card is more excited than I am. With diesel prices the way they are, I’m not sure which will be cheaper (I do, it’s diesel, actually) but the amount of money I’ve spent on Uber and Uber Teens since I had my surgery is quite bonkers.

Slowest, shortest walk. But man that felt great.

Codex/ChatGPT is not stable for me. 429 errors. Capacity issues. Things going wrong daily. Dots is entirely useless atm. Tried it again today after a few days. Time to look at other solutions. I really didn't want to, but I can't work like this.

Just had post-op checkup. Doctor is very happy. Can do low resistance cycling at the gym, swim, and can slowly introduce a bit of walking.

All in small doses and trying to keep pain to a max of 3/10. See him in 2 months again. Almost time to start at the bio and then the real rehab begins.
