huge day for the bear community at the country store.

just eavesdropped on a group of seemingly lovely gay men at a train station in the middle of nowhere upstate new york. where are they headed, i ask myself. is this a boys weekend? do they do this every year? i’m in a taxi now and still thinking about them. will they stop for groceries on the way to their airbnb? or are they staying at one of the boys’ aunt’s houses? who’s in charge of the aux? anyway, i hope they have a lovely time together. i wish them well.

just spent three hours sitting next to a guy on amtrak trying to figure out if he was gay only for a grindr notification to go off on my phone and make him check his own. #noticing
