Microsoft’s 60K Employee Buyout Shock: Is AI Taking Over Jobs?👀 AI might not be replacing every worker directly. But it's changing how companies decide where to spend money and how many people they need. The warning signs: - Companies are restructuring and cutting costs. - Routine work is becoming easier to automate. - Entry-level developers face tougher competition. - AI skills are becoming more valuable. The move? Learn to build with AI, understand APIs and agents, and ship real projects. Don't just use AI. Learn to make it work for you.

5 Git commands that can save you when your code gets messy. 1. "git status" See which files you've changed and what's staged for commit. 2. "git diff" Review your code changes before committing. 3. "git stash" Temporarily save uncommitted changes without creating a commit. 4. "git log --oneline" See your commit history in a clean, compact format. 5. "git reflog" Find where "HEAD" and your branch references pointed previously. Useful when you think you've lost a commit. You don't need to memorize every Git command. You just need to know which ones can save you when things go wrong.

System Design → Design a payment system that prevents duplicate transactions. → How would you scale an application from 10K to 10M users? → When would you choose microservices over a monolith? Databases → Why is your SQL query slow, and how would you optimize it? → How do you maintain data consistency across services? Distributed Systems → What happens if a server crashes during a database transaction? → How would you handle duplicate messages from a queue? Production & DevOps → Your production API suddenly becomes slow. How do you investigate? → How would you deploy a breaking change without downtime? Technical Leadership → Tell me about a major production incident you handled. → Describe a technical decision you made and the trade-offs involved. → How do you handle disagreements during code reviews? The biggest difference? A junior developer often focuses on implementing a feature. A senior developer also thinks about what happens when that feature fails, scales, becomes expensive, or needs to be maintained by another team. You don't need to master every tool on this list. You need strong fundamentals, depth in your domain, and the judgment to make reliable technical decisions. Years of experience may get you shortlisted. Engineering judgment is what makes you senior. Save this for your next career move.
