BYD has delivered its largest-ever shipment of new-energy vehicles to Pakistan, bringing over 2,000 cars to Karachi. The arrival comes as rising fuel prices, growing EV demand, and efforts to reduce oil imports accelerate Pakistan’s shift toward electric mobility.
Pakistan’s EV transition is not just about putting more electric vehicles on roads. It also needs charging points, reliable maintenance, battery quality standards, financing options, and strong local manufacturing.
