Nothing against Garrett in particular, but there is a mewling, preemptively apologetic way that a lot of men on here talk to mainstream LLMs when they're trying to gently coax them into doing something risqué or unladylike. The subservience of the user to the bot is extremely profound in these instances. Compare to the silent dignity with which Frank Frazetta draws an ass on his easel and canvas. In many ways you have lost everything that makes you artistically free.
If the data centers have to drain the oceans dry for this, it will be WORTH IT.

Ppl getting duped by it is the entire point of the movie. The WHOLE POINT of the movie is, she is infact a manipulative psycho, and you too could be duped, just like her other victims.

Other half has a real interest in both science and gardening, and sometimes she hits it big. She's allergic to the common kinds of lawn grass, so we already knew we couldn't plant that at our place. Then she found this thing called UC Verde. It's a genetically engineered grass from UC Irvine, specifically built for the Southwest and Southern California. It's soft and lush, and you don't need to water it or mow it. I know this sounds completely absurd. I was very skeptical. We planted it in plugs, and it was slow to grow in, but in under a year it has turned absolutely beautiful. This is pretty much as tall as it gets, no watering, and it doesn't give her skin any issues. I'm very impressed.

Worldbuilding idea: country where the middle class and elites speak an inconsistent, frigid barbarian pidgin and the underclass of immigrants, laborers, and domestics speak a stable Latinate tongue with centuries upon centuries of continuity.

If we model interactions between a broad society of dogs, with a strong preference for the underdog winning, then eventually through a tournament process we end up championing weaker and weaker dogs until our ultimate hero is the weakest, most pathetic dog on the entire planet.

Retrospectively Primetime seems to be about how Lance Oppenheim felt filming Elizabeth Holmes.

World where building a CRM for your child's little league team is a couple bucks of tokens but taking the team out to lunch is like $150.

I cannot believe the crying over the Cheesecake Factory. Obama derangement syndrome is honestly a whole order of magnitude above TDS. The dude can turn half the Republican pundits here into wailing toddlers with an incredibly tame rib. So many people are on here crashing out defending the honor of theoretical random poor people's perception of the Cheesecake Factory. ROMAN STATVE HEADS wailing about elitism. I don't believe you think elitism is bad. I'm sorry. The bit is stale. Trump's whole thing is making nasty digs at people. He has fully turned on PvP, be so for real. He himself would probably laugh at the joke.

One thing that's been really bugging me lately about AI writing, not because it's AI but just because it's bad writing, is the negation of stuff that nobody was saying or ever really would say. "Every ingredient has a job on a steam table." On the surface, this seems like an informative statement, but it's completely immaterial. Every ingredient in something always has a job. Otherwise why would it be there? The whole construction is a waste of your attention.
The scrambled eggs at a hotel breakfast are 19% water, and they're dyed. A lot of hotels and cafeterias pour them from a carton of Papetti's Breakfast Blend. The spec sheet reads whole eggs, 19% water, then under 2% of salt, xanthan gum, citric acid, annatto color and natural butter flavor. Papetti's is part of Michael Foods, one of the biggest egg processors in the country. Every ingredient has a job on a steam table. Xanthan gum holds the added water in the egg so it doesn't weep into the pan. Citric acid keeps the eggs from turning gray or green under a heat lamp. Annatto puts back the yolk color the water washed out. The butter flavor is there because nobody is going to add butter. The carton keeps for 98 days in the cooler. The plain version from the same company is whole eggs, whey, skim milk, xanthan and citric acid, with almost no added water and half the sodium.
